  1. If you're getting offended by MLP you should probably recollect your life choices that have lead to this moment of offense. Along the way you will probably come across the point in time where that stick got lodged, and when you do, please promptly remove.
  2. To the people saying no, that's your choice. However I you are fully aware that you that your children are the only real legacy that you and by extension your family has in this world. Even moreso if you're an only child, once you die your family line ceases to exist. Always remember, you can't take your money with you when you die. There's no reason to horde it around, sure you may like your freedom(whatever that may entail) but it's kind of sad to grow old with no family. You'll be missing out on your children's birthdays, the feeling of feeling of your newborn wrap his/her hand around your finger, you'll miss your daughter's wedding, your son's graduation from college, and all the holidays spent together. Most people realize as they get older in life that their children and grandchildren are the only things that are of real importance to them. I commend all those that can go through life without having a family because I know I wouldn't be able to do it. However it's probably an accurate statement to say that most of the people saying no are young in life and I understand the stance. I definitely wouldn't want children or even begin thinking of having at a young age. I even mentioned so previously in the thread. But please make sure when forming such convictions that you really know what's in store for you when you're 50, 60, 80 years.
  3. Yes, I'd love to have two or three children. However not for at least another 6 years. House and finances among other things need to be in order before children. And no pets...ok perhaps a german shepherd.
  4. I can hear the fireworks as well and I'm not even in Anaheim
  5. Closest freeway to me would be the 5, I live near a lot of them lol.
  6. I thought this was about the powers they got in that comic book episode, definitely one of the weirder ones looking back... I doubt we'll see the powers again, but I really have no opinion on them either way.
  7. I own a Glock 19 that I keep in a drawer near my bed. It isn't loaded but I keep two loaded magazines next to it. Probably isn't California legal but the gun laws here are ridiculous anyways. I plan on building an AR-15 sometime soon. If I get around to it I'll at least by the parts before the presidential election. I have a feeling the cost of weapons/ammo/accessories are going to skyrocket.
  8. The building owner had what I'm assuming is a Russian accent. I wonder if that means there are parts of Equestria or other pony lands that speak Russian? There's already a precedent with french... Beyond the overthinking, great episode. Rarity is one of my favorite ponies and her episodes are usually very well rounded, must be why she's one of my favorites . Another episode with DJ-Pon3 and she has still yet to say a word..
  9. 5'9" Male. Quite content with my height. I'm usually on the shorter end but am tall enough to at least not appear too short. Yet I also fit comfortably in almost any car, airplane, etc.
  10. Check the poll on the episode thread. It's overwhelmingly positive. Since it's a hearth's warming episode the detractors will be more vocal than usual. But to them I say Bah humbug! https://mlpforums.com/topic/151833-s06e08-a-hearths-warming-tail/
  11. 1. Celestia banned sister to moon for a thousand years, wiped her existence from public knowledge, froze a troubled soul in stone for more than a millennium... 2. Tirek 3. Sombra 4. Chrysalis 5. Nightmare moon 6. Discord 7. Starlight Glimmer
  12. My father used to be a semi-professional body builder and I've learned a lot about exercise and diet from him. Here is some advice: If you're going to the gym to build muscle and you're not doing cardio your workouts should probably be a max of 35 minutes. Mine average 30 minutes with stretching. If you're spending an hour in a gym you're either not working hard enough or not fast enough, usually both since the faster your workout the more strenuous it is. A good tip for those who are heavyset and want to lose a large amount of weight, hit the bike first. You can shed a lot of weight taking a bike class at your local gym, and you won't destroy your knees. While I do actually enjoy running it can have serious repercussions on your knees for those who are big and you'll be paying for it in about 25 years. As for diet, whatever you do don't stop eating. Too many people think that eating little or skipping meals will help but it doesn't. If you skip meals you're metabolism will slow and your body will try to retain the food longer will can make you bloaty. Furthermore when you eat that next meal you'll want to eat a lot since you're very hungry from skipping a meal. That large meal to supplement the skipped meal will just add more weight to you since you've already slowed down your metabolism. The entire thing is counterproductive; better to eat terrible food than not at all.
  13. I need to live in the city. However I do much enjoy having rural/country areas nearby so you can visit. The best of both worlds would be to have both close by. I live in SoCal and there's just way too many people here but I couldn't imagine living in a small town where everyone knows everyone's business. Need to find the balance.
  14. Thank you for the welcome guys! Nice to see so many friendly people here
  15. I wear my watch when I go to work. I feel kinda naked if I'm at work and I'm not wearing my watch. Outside of work however I don't wear it that often, mostly because I forget to.
  16. People would probably mistake me for snorting coke if I ever tried snuff. I've tried high quality cigarettes before and while I did actually enjoy the taste I never made it habit as I find the health issues related to tobacco and smoking in general to be gross. To each their own though.
  17. Definitely my least favorite episode of the season. I don't enjoy the episodes that portray Rainbow Dash as immature and bratty. Yeah the Wondercolts could've eased up on her but every cringe-worthy moment that happened was RD's fault. Hopefully one day, an episode will cure RD of her insecurity issues since she able to dish out criticism but can't handle being on the receiving end.
  18. Pride is the deadliest sin as most of the others are derived from it.
  19. Listening to this as I type
  20. Yes, I always try to buy high quality clothing and to look at least presentable. Perhaps that's a reason why Rarity is my favorite pony lol. However I'm not a big spender, I'm good at maintaining my clothes and if you buy high quality clothing it can last a long time.
  21. Starlight's addition seems forced to me but it's a good thing they added her to the mane6. It adds a whole other character to develop and write episodes which keeps the show going and adds new things to look forward too. They needed to transition her into the mane 6 better, such as a better background story, but now that she's in it should be easier for the writers to write good episodes around her. Plus the episodes this season have been fairly good anyways in my opinion. I'm really hoping they'll make up for the poor backstory by tying her into Sunset's arc somehow. They're both powerful pony's and Starlight seems older thus perhaps she could've acted as a teacher for Sunset, idk. Maybe she'll be in the next equestria girls lol.
  22. My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Rarity How did you find MLP Forums?: Something I searched on google brought up the site awhile back. How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Been on the internet for too long Hello fellas! I am a college student SoCal studying CS who also conveniently works in IT. I started watching the show sometime around the middle of season 2. I became a fan of the show fairly quickly and have watched it since. I'll occasionally go through periods of time when I forget to watch the new episodes but I always catch up quickly. I've never really engaged in the community apart from a few friends so I thought perhaps I'd give it a try. I guess I'm a few years late to the party in that regard In my spare time I like to listen to music, go to the gym, play golf, watch hockey & football, play some video games, and drinking(in moderation of course). Beer and vodka are my favorite my favorite types of booze. If anyone shares an interest, my favorite genre of music is country but I also listen to rock, blues, pop, and even hip hop. EDM though is a no-go for me, sorry dubsteppers. I look forward to meeting y'all!
  23. I thought AJ and Pinkie Pie's songs were great. I however always love the Christmas themed episodes.
