For eveypone having a shitty day / week – (see my 'sad' emots^) sheesh! I had a good day, went for lunch with a few friends and had a nice ride in the warm air. Now drinking tea.

Definitely cooled down a bit, and we had a bit of rain too.

Cooler than yesterday, which is nice. (I don't mean Rainbow Dash kind of cooler. )

Oh I beg its pardon! Today – reheated take-out chicken tikka massala & pilau rice, garnished with raw onion, tomato & cucmber..... - . Later, raspberry ripple ice cream with strawberries & a few red grapes..... -

Well, only slightly.

Jacket potato with cheese & beans, side salad, mayonnaise... (yes, again!) . . . I used to get this at a local cafe, the Trader Mill Tearooms – Trader Mill is an old 6-sail windmill which was a particular style for the Fens district and South Lincolnshire. Closed during Covid, then one of the sails fell off as the woodwork was going rotten, so was unsafe to visit. Eventually the charity got organized enough to begin getting it repaired, which was most of 2021 I think and after. The cafe, which is a timber cabin, also needed some repair, and was used to store materials from the windmill for the duration of the repairs and so the cafe was closed, also for the duration. Then the guy that ran the cafe died. So that, for the moment, seems to be the end of the cafe. Shame as it wasn't far away and I liked going there. I miss it. .

I didn't realise the moths situation was about making holes in clothes. That's definitely not on. Get it now.

Groceries from Asda. - Also, some packets of hand wipes, soap bars, fly spray, and two tarps, not from Asda.

Yes today is scorchio – I think it's the hottest day so far this year ... Should be cooling down a bit from tomorrow onward, hopefully.

Must ... not ... move away .... from the fan ... lest the melting starts ...
