    I know we were all expecting this, but I'm still laughing at how they announced this so damn casually. Yeah, backwards compatibility was to be expected. We all knew there was no way they wouldn't include it, but actually hearing it be confirmed is a relief. In regards to that new Mario Kart, we obviously don't know much at this stage. But, there seems to be at least 24 spots on the starting grid, so that's quite interesting.

    Don't mind it, but more so if I'm free to just do my own thing. I took swimming lessons as a kid and I didn't mind it for a bit, but eventually I started to become indifferent and that evolved to actively disliking it until I just stopping going completely.

    Honestly, just being able to branch out and work on new things. I'm much more secure financially than I was at the start of last year, so having more free time and leeway to do my own thing is great. Plus, I'll get to be more active on this lovely little forum. In terms of media, nothing is really biting me and that's a first in a while. Maybe one or two games coming out, but that's more of "I might consider getting that" then "I'm absolutely going to get this."

    Still playing original Doom. After replaying the game on PC and messing around with mods, I decided to try playing the GBA port. It's very impressive technically, but I probably wouldn't recommend actually playing it.
