The Reservist: Future Equestrian Warfare [FANFIC]
Street Light replied to SidewinderX's topic in Written Fan Works
hiii! i went ahead and read your story uwu i really liked it! you do a really good job with voice driven worldbuilding. linux has a distinct tone that does a lot to reveal the state of the world in a way that seems natural. i do have a few critiques if you're interested, and i can send them to you privately or here in this thread. up to you, but overall it has a really good, cohesive start!- 6 replies

What Kind Of Dreams Do You Have?
Street Light replied to Flutter_Guy_Dash's topic in General Discussion
A lot of the time, when I do dream, i just drean about memories that turn out differently from how I remember them, usually it ends up spiraling. sometimes it's good, sometimes bad, but it's always confusing when I wake up. Takes a minute or two to come to my senses and replay my entire life in my head to confirm my false memories are GONE. Sometimes it makes me existential. thankfully i don't dream often uwu -
a friend made it for me uwu it was very kind of her~

there haven't been many studies into it, but i and others experience something called paresthesia. it is euphoric in nature, and the response is similar to a tender, physical touch ^~^ like someone combing their fingers through your hair or tracing along your spine :3 some people like it, some people are disturbed by it uwu

critique wanted Snow's scribbles for the fridge door.
Street Light replied to Snow's topic in Visual Fan Art
omg :3 omg omg. i love derpy in that pot. that's super cute, esp with that trowel >w< rarity's got a pretty sassy trot going on, too. im not much of an artist, but any time i tried to make a pony walking it always came out suuuper scuffed. idk if that's a personal skill issue or not, but i like how you did it here uwu -
no :3 but i wouldn't be opposed to trying to learn, when it's a good time ^~^

aaaa!!! hihiii welcome :3 hope you enjoy your time here ^~^

i have no idea! but i looked around a bit and found this :3 hope it helps. from what i'm reading, it's really hard to do right since it's plastic? and a lot of methods involve heat to a degree, so you need to be REALLYREALLYREALLY careful not to melt it. i have two methods. the second method is one i found for barbie hair which might work. FIRST METHOD 1. Softening with Hot Water: Dunk the pony's mane and tail in boiling water (briefly, about 10-20 seconds) to soften the hair and make it more pliable. Be careful not to submerge the pony's face or any plastic parts that might melt or damage. 2. Detangling: Use a fine-tooth comb or a wet brush specifically designed for detangling hair, and start at the ends and work your way up. Continue dunking the hair in hot water and combing until most of the tangles are gone. If you have a wire pet brush, it can also be helpful. 3. Washing and Conditioning: Wash the hair with a mild shampoo (baby shampoo is a good option) and rinse thoroughly. Apply a small amount of mild, unscented conditioner, especially on the ends, and comb it through. Leave the conditioner in for a few minutes, then rinse and comb again. 4. Additional Tips: Fabric softener can also be used to help detangle and soften the hair. If you are struggling with frizzy hair, you can use a flat iron on the lowest setting to smooth it out. If the hair is still matted, you may need to carefully cut out the damaged sections. SECOND METHOD 1. First, gently detangle the doll’s artificial hair with your fingers, separating strands as best as you can. 2. Wash out any dirt with warm water. 3. Next, gently massage in a small amount of hair conditioner. 4. Working in small amounts, gently come through the doll’s hair, working your way around her head until all the hair is combed through. 5. Spray in hair detangler to increase the hair’s softness. 6. Next, thoroughly rinse the doll’s hair with a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water to produce a super shiny finish. 7. Follow by a final rinse with warm water. 8. Finally, style your doll’s hair any way you’d like.
