I wouldn't force my kids to watch specific shows in specific ways, but if they're interested in MLP, I'll prefer to have them watch the show in order. (From episode 1 and on)

@OP: I don't know what to say. That's really horrible, and I'm sorry it happened. I can say you handled it a lot better than I would have.

I have to pick Rarity because Rarity is my favorite pony and my sister's favorite pony. I think we'd both get along with her pretty well... and it would give Sweetie Belle two extra siblings so she can get more attention

It's difficult for me to speculate. My first reaction would be DEAR CELESTIA NO but I really have to think about a world with sentient, intellectual ponies capable of speech. I think it would just go back to the trust aspect. If someone told me online something and it turned out to be radically different, it would hurt my trust. I can't found a relationship on lies. And if I really decided to be in a relationship with one, it would only be if there was a possibility that I could get changed into a pony (as creepy as that sounds.) There would be too many biological differences for the relationship to work (and I'm not to keen on interspecies relationships, no offense to anyone who is.)

I dislike it when people say variations of "It's okay to be a brony but don't wear MLP:FIM shirts in public." I wear Super Mario Brothers shirts, Pokémon shirts, and shirts with toucans because I like those things. If I find a good MLP shirt, I won't hesitate to wear it. I wear shirts of things I like because I can meet other people who like these things. HOWEVER, I dislike it when bronies do things like: forcing pizza restaurants to draw ponies on the box or otherwise pestering non-bronies. It's not because they're bronies and it's not because it's MLP; I would dislike ANYONE from ANY fandom who would do this kind of thing. So to answer the OP's question, those are the types of bronies I dislike (or at least, I dislike their actions.) I think there's an important line between wearing a "20% cooler" shirt and downright harassing people. Oh also, I don't listen to the "love and tolerate" line because it's brony invented, not from the show. I do my best not to hate anyone, but there are some things I just cannot tolerate. (Examples: I cannot love someone who tortures toucans. I cannot tolerate animal cruelty.)

I think they'd be scared or intrigued by humans. Maybe, if they know about humans, they'd consider them "mythological creatures." ("Don't be silly, you know humans don't exist!") I could be completely wrong though.

Hmm. Even before I watched MLP, I wouldn't have dreamed of using "gay" as an insult. I'd like to think I wouldn't go around throwing something in the trash just because I didn't like it, but I can't say for sure. Something like this has happened to me, but not with MLP. I would play "Yu-Gi-Oh!" with my friends in Junior High, and kids would throw our cards in the trash and call us "gay."
