Hate to burst your bubble, but if you're serious about being a Trekkie and are in a fleet, serving on a ship and all that, it is present. I don't think I've ever run across it to where it seemed serious, more just light jesting to the FNGs and whatnot, but with rank I'm sure some people let it go to their head. I mean for crying out loud, you have to take Starfleet tests in order to achieve a rank higher than Lt. Cmd. and move up on the ship you serve on or to even branch off to captain your own. Whole lot of other rules too if you're into the serious side of things. I think he does that anyways, although I shouldn't be talking. Actually the alicorn thing could easily become just that. If you take a look at all the topics that focus on thoughts about alicorn OCs, there is a repeating pattern with many people thinking they shouldn't be. Mainly because of the rarity and prestige that comes with being an alicorn, and that they are meant to be royalty and influential figures since that's all we've seen in the show. The fandom is very much torn on that topic if you as me.

The only real example of this I think you can see is the general dislike of alicorn OCs or any other that might fall under the mary sue or "broken horn just because" categories . Although most are willing to give advice and creative criticism if the owner of said OC is open to such rather than just put that person down. Not something you'd see in other fandoms really, at least ones based on the internet. But really, no elitists can exist within this fandom because we already have Trixie. Everyone else can only dream to be as elite as her.

I only see one Colgate, filly Colgate. The other mare has completely different colors all around. The design getting reused with different colors is nothing new, during Winter Wrap-up there are like 4 other mares with Derpy's design but different colors. Only Trixie is powerful enough to appear multiple times in one scene.

As already said, it would never happen. We'll probably never even see anything more from the nightmare realm since in the comics Luna and Nightmare Rarity herself said something along the lines of there wasn't much power left and it took all they could to find another host. NMR said they picked Rarity because she was the weakest against her fears. Then at the end of that arc, all the nightmare beasties turned back into their non-corrupt former selves.

I used to have many, most I just held onto because they were from my childhood and were original items like an original Wicket, Woodstock, Elmo, stuff like that. Then me and the gf broke up and they were lost forever, sad thing is she probably trashed them all or sent them to goodwill. Oh well, lesson learned. Never date again. That aside, I've got a few sitting around my room. Simba, Stitch, a squirrel, and a wind rider cub from WoW. I'm currently trying to sell my Jeeps, and once they do I plan on getting a large-ish (13" or so) Trixie beanie made. She'll probably just sit somewhere in my room as well, but if I ever do get the chance to go to a con I'll probably take her with me and lug her around. Have her thrown over my shoulder for the most part, the rest of the time she'd be the star of pictures since I have a "no pictures allowed" rule. I love the photos that have like Lego figures doing everyday stuff and whatnot, so I figure I can have some fun and do that with Trixie. She'll eat great and tasty muffins, or try on hats that only the highest level unicorns could ever hope to look stylish in.

I'd count on it since there is supposedly many more years to come. The show can't go on without the greatest, and now officially highest level unicorn, pony stealing the spotlight many more times. I've said it before, expect Trixie to have her own spin-off. Co-starring Luna. Snips and Snails will be banned from the lot though.

That. Also I'd have to say Apple fanatics can be pretty crazy IMO. No way would I stand in line for a device (get there days, weeks, months early), pay eBay prices, or kill someone over a phone. And then do it all over again the next year!
