Oh wow! Many years ago, I had a frightening dream. A number of men just started walking into my house. I tried asking the last one what was going on. He didn’t say a word but simply pulled out a gun and shot me. It was so vivid for a moment I thought I was dead. But a bit later I woke up.

*looks at you with glistening eyes of sentimentality* You were one of the first few people to say hi to me as Magical Mare, Wingnut. I regret never sticking around long enough to help build the memories. I did cling to Sir over here a lot. I was terribly shy and he was super Mr. Popular. Isn't he great, though? He's always too humble for his own good.
Sorry to say I barely remember the name Magical Mare but that’s about it. Glad to see you didn’t give up on the forums altogether. And I can concur with everything you said about Sir Hugoholic.

Hi Sir Hugoholic! Sorry I’m a bit late replying to your blog. I don’t know what exactly prompted you to write this. But I can say that as we go through the journey called life, we’re going to hurt a few people we care about along the way. It’s an inevitable part of the human condition. Whatever happened, you’re doing everything you can to make it right.
I want to take a moment to say this forum has been a special place for me too. I’ll grant you it’s not 2014 anymore and most of those members we greatly admired are no longer here. I have sometimes disappeared for extended periods myself. Anyway, during my time here, a few members have truly touched my heart. Believe it or not, Adrian, you’re one of them. If you ever want someone to talk to, you’re always welcome to give me a holler.

Harmonic Revelations? Wow, talk about a blast from the past! We’ve all done bone-headed things at one time or another. Anyway I’m glad to see you’re doing well. It’s always good to see a member from way back when make an appearance.

We’ve lost a lot of famous names in 2020 and these two are near the top of the list. Even though Kobe Bryant played for the Lakers, he was a Philadelphia native and the local news paid extra close attention to him throughout his NBA career. There’s a lot of Lakers fans in Philly, partly because the Sixers sucked that whole time and partly because Kobe played for them. A spontaneous memorial for him, his daughter, and other crash victims went up at his Alma mater, Lower Merion High School, when they died. And of course, what can I say about Chadwick? Only those closest to him knew he was fighting cancer while he was acting in the MCU movies. I also think about Alex Trebek who initially second guessed disclosing his cancer diagnosis. But as time went on he embraced it because he understood how many others were going through the same thing.

@Denim&Venom I noticed the pajamas too. Mom is raising her kids right.

No, not you too! One by one, all the most memorable people from when I was a regular have been leaving. There are too many to name but I specifically miss Hugaholic, Reaps, Stellafera, DF, Flipturn, SCS, Sugar Cube, Lady Kiriness, Troblems, and Sterling Crimson.
Yet, through it all, you were consistent. I didn’t think the shipping master would ever depart this forum. But life happens. I get it. Best of luck, Lightwing, you’re truly one of a kind.

If I’m reading this right, @Sparklefan1234 and I have been turned into cats. I dunno how but that seems rather fitting.
And thanks for assigning me one of the days in this game. It’s an honor.

That's too bad. He was my favorite heel manager from the 1980s. I wish I could watch RAW tonight as they're sure to have some nice tributes for him.

I know we haven't talked the way we did in the past and I honestly don't get what this is all about. But I did enjoy those chats and I hope we can stay in touch. No matter what, you still have my support. Good luck!

It's Pikachu!
Goddammit! Agh!

Welcome back, Vicke. The forum definitely isn't the same. While the newcomers mean well, I still miss the regulars from 2012 and 2013 when I was most active here AND most in love with the show. I continue to watch the series and while I still enjoy it, the old magic isn't there anymore.
Anywho, nice seeing you again.

I honestly felt ill several times while watching this episode. I'm glad to know it just wasn't me.

Love seeing these old buses with a new lease on life.

Tigers Stadium was another unfortunate loss. I remember the amazing grassroots effort that was made to preserve at least a portion of that historic ballpark but ultimately to no avail.

I dunno about all year but I'm totally fine with this being Rarity Forums for the rest of the month.
EDIT: And 10 minutes after I post this they change the banner back to what it was before.

*hugs*. As someone who has lost four legged friends of my own, you have my deepest sympathies. Their time with us may be short, but the memories and love endure.

I can't believe anyone would post a blog about the Superman game here. I played that so much on my Atari as a kid!

I never noticed the scion was being discontinued. When GM shut down Pontiac the media made such a big deal about it.

LOL, I remember that fanart of Daring all tied up but I didn't realize it was on a pillow until I saw your screencap just now. That's just a tad suggestive.
And yes, it is a pretty accurate depiction of fan conventions.

Congrats on one year here. Before you know it, you'll be like me and looking at your FOURTH forumversary.

LOL, when I clicked on "People Mover" I was expecting to see things like MetroMover in Miami, Detroit's people mover, and Jacksonville's Skytrain. Still not a bad name for a bus agency when you think about it.

I can't believe Bronycon came and went already. I wasn't able to go this year but I'm so used to it being held in August.
Anyway I'm glad to hear you had a splendid time. I was quite impressed the years I went and spending some quality time IRL with fellow forumers was just as much fun as seeing the celebrities, the dealer room, and all the other events.

That's true. In many instances, towns and cities that could realistically support one mall ended up getting three or four built. Typically one thrives while the rest fade away. Honestly, we have too much real estate devoted to retail in this country anyway and a contraction was overdue even before things like Amazon started chipping away at business.
Anniversary time!

And a slightly belated happy anniversary from me as well. I may not be as active as I once was but you didn’t think I’d overlook this blog entry, right? Anyway you quickly grew to become one of my favorite forum members and it was so much fun interacting with you and a ton of others.
