  1. Not particularly, with the exception of military vehicles. Especially half-tracks. But in terms of civilian vehicles, I suppose I have something of a passion for the Lada Niva. Utilitarian cars are something I very much appreciate and the practicality, low-production cost and simplicity of the Lada Niva is something I enjoy greatly.
  2. My first instinct is to say John Carpenter's The Thing but it's such a cliche answer so I'll instead say that my second favorite movie is Tarkovsky's masterpiece, Solaris.
  3. Happy birthday homeslice. Hope it's a good one!

      Thank you very much!

  4. Oh, it's already 4:30 AM here. Oddly I'm not even slightly tired.

      :O time to sleep lol

  5. I might go dig through it and see if I can find myself in one of them. HOLY SHIT IT'S ZOOP, HI ZOOP.
  6. That's because there's dozens of hard-working staff members I've met on sites through the years but only one guy obsessed with belly buttons, hence why it stands out. I'm still trying to find the hard drive with the pics from that group chat saved on it. No luck so far.
  7. You may have forgotten me, but I could never forget you. The belly button Skype group is forever ingrained into my nightmares and sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat. I can tell from the stay I've had so far that the forums' current focus seems to be on quality over quantity of content which is something I greatly appreciate. Back in the day things felt really impersonal due to the fact hundreds of members came and went all the time.
  8. I did do quite a bit of half-serious satirical analysis of pony-related topics back in the day here on my blog and I am definitely not against taking that tongue-in-cheek approach and talking about some of the newer episodes. Not sure I'd call what I had poise as much as I'd call it haughtiness but I appreciate the compliment none-the-less. Honestly if my earnest self-confidence was anywhere close to what I used to project as a front for my insecurities I'd probably have conquered half the Earth by now. Look forward to half-comprehensible analysis of the later episodes as my brain struggles to make sense of so much pastel horse all in one sitting.
  9. I do try to distance myself from anything that either directly or indirectly gives Scientology money, for obvious reasons. Not like I watch many movies in the first place but it's just another reason not to watch things Tom Cruise is in.
  10. It looks like there's been many changes to how the rank system works since I was here last, is there any thread/page on the site better detailing how it currently works?

  11. When I was younger I used to be incredibly pessimistic, and in general just kind of a downer when discussing any serious topic. Now I consider myself neither a pessimist nor an optimist, but a realist. I try to take a step back and see things how they are, unclouded by my mental biases. It may be impossible to fully get rid of said bias but at least trying will help me make better decisions by engaging more with reality directly.
  12. Princess Celestia is my favorite pony, because she is our benevolent ruler who has never committed any war crimes at any point in history, don't even vaguely suggest that or you will be going to the dungeons for a very long time.
  13. Since this isn't particularly relevant now that I'm an adult I'm going to break down how it was when I was a teen. For context, my parents have been divorced since I was six so no my father essentially has no idea about anything in my life and hence I won't be mentioning him really. When I first got into MLP, my mother found out almost immediately for one simple reason: because I told her. She's an amazing women and always supportive of me and didn't think any less of me for doing something atypical. She felt that as long as I was happy, treating others well, and doing my best, then everything was alright. Her calm and measured response makes sense. For me I never really obsess over media, even stuff I enjoy a lot. The most I do for just about anything is buy one or two pieces of merch if I'm feeling REALLY dedicated, and that was still true back in the day. I got a princess Celestia shirt with her cutiemark on the center of it that I loved to death, and my friend gave me a Fluttershy plush for my thirteenth birthday which I still have to this day. But yes, for me most of my interests are not exactly highly visible so if I didn't want my mother to know I could have been silent on it, but I trust her and didn't want to hide the fact I was a bit weird, and she was perfectly understanding (and still is, for that matter.)
  14. Insomnia strikes once again. This calls for one thing and one thing only: scouring the internet for more Celestia art to add to the collection. Off I gooooooooo.

      Good Luck, BFFFF. :LunaMCM:

  15. Happy birthversary! I wish you a good one, full of cake and happiness.

  16. Just finished rewriting the introduction in a way that's way too long to reasonably expect anyone to read. Brace yourself for more Celestia art the moment I remember how to embed images on this website.
  17. If this is still a thing, I'd like to request a signature. One with Celestia, something that screams "Hello world, I am a neurotic individual with an obsession for Sunbutt", and make my name pop like it's a lightning bolt coming down at the tinman holding a lightning rod that just called Zeus' mother a bitch, you know, something that stands out to the viewer.
  18. Ah, the one and only Feld0. It's great to see you. Yeah, it seems like we're all getting up there in age. At this rate I'll be getting gray hairs soon. And yeah, this place means a lot to me, it has so much sentimental value, especially since looking back it was a huge part of my formative teenage years. It's kind of crazy how much of my social interaction at that time was entirely done online, but then again I live in such a small town it's not likely I'd have been able to meet many people just by going around my hometown. You will be pleased to know that my Sunbutt art collection has been preserved in pristine condition on my old HDDs and is once again growing. Soon Celestia will conquer all, it is inevitable. I'm glad to hear you have faith in me to reintegrate and be a positive contributor to the forum, and I'll do my best to make sure it's well placed. I slid a welcome thread in on my return though admittedly it was light on details about myself so I'll probably edit it to rewrite the post and be a bit more of a proper introduction to who I am, my interests, the like.
  19. Thank you, and it's nice to meet you. As you can all see I have managed to regain my old account, so that's, as the kids these days say, "pretty poggers".
  20. I vaguely remember you yes. It's kind of insane to see the changing of the guard. It's like one of those movies where someone goes into a coma and wakes up and everything is different. Congrats on making it all the way up to Admin!
  21. I don't have an ultra clear recollection anymore but I have this feeling in the back of my mind it involved a random word generator. Honestly I feel now that my username is kind of cringy. I'd change it except it kind of has a certain sentimental value now. Almost everywhere online I just my first name Colt instead as an identifier if possible because I'm not really good at coming up with usernames.
  22. When I saw the title, I'm not going to lie, I thought this was going to be a thread about McDonalds killing horses and cooking them into burgers. Sort of disappointed it wasn't. Good luck to anyone out there hunting after these.
  23. Hot damn if it isn't Quiviut. Your avatar is still the same after all these years. Man, that brings me back ages. It's good to see ya bud.
