Hmm, my favorite anti-hero(s) would have to be... from video games, Nico Belic and every character I've made on Skyrim; from movies, etc. is ... Discord... (I need to watch more TV) ^_^

Edit: And I forgot about Snape; also, would Artemis Fowl be considered an anti-hero (being that he is a criminal mastermind?)

Yep, Walter White is definitely one of the best anti-heroes. I don't think I've ever gone through as many different opinions between liking and hating a character as I did with him while going through Breaking Bad... and in the end I'm still not sure about him, there was certainly a lot of grey in between making all that blue.

Dunno who else to mention atm... Discord I guess counts. :umad:

For me it would be a tie between the Joker of batman fame, and Alex from the novel "A clockwork orange". Both characters are rather well written, with the Joker being one of the most prominant anti hero's of this generation.

I'm gonna go with Miles Edgeworth. But to be honest, I could've picked the prosecutor from almost any Ace Attorney game. Even though they're like your "enemy" throughout the game, they're usually amazing and sympathetic characters who you end up loving by the end of the game.

Another of my favorite anti-heroes is Nico di Angelo from the Percy Jackson series. The last book especially added a lot of depth to his character.

You just named 2 of my many favorite things  ^_^

Although, for AA, I'd chose Simon Blackquill since he's backstory is much better than Miles.

I can't get enough of Hiei's personality. He acts like the only thing he cares about is becoming stronger, but he does the right thing when he's needed most. He's such a spiteful little sweetheart. (And when I say little I mean little. He's, like, four and a half feet tall.)

Actually an anti-Hero is mot a villian but a person who mostly good but does not do things with intent of doing good for the sake of doing good.

For me my favorite Anti- Hero's were

● Seto Kaiba (Yu-Gi-Oh!)

● Vegeta (DBZ)

● Green Power Ranger (MMPR)

I see that but I think

“In fiction, an antihero is generally considered to be a protagonist whose character is at least in some regards conspicuously contrary to that of the archetypal hero, and is in some instances its antithesis. Some consider the word’s meaning to be sufficiently broad as to additionally encompass the antagonist who (in contrast to the archetypal villain) elicits considerable sympathy or admiration."

I believe there is a difference in a Villian and Anti-Hero. Joker is full Villian. I would buy Catwoman as an Anti Hero but that's about it. Her or the Nolan version of Bane could be seen as an Anti-Hero in some aspects.
