Who would win in a battle between G1 Tirek and the Mane six?

Remember, G1 Tirek was much more brutal than his G4 self. He killed the Queen of the ponies, Majesty and turned ponies into dragons! Here's a pic of Megan confronting him:

Definitely the Mane Six. They have the magic of friendship on their side, the strongest force in the universe.

Sure he was willing to do more, but the modern mane six have "friendship". Not a whole lot he could do against six super saiyan ponies.

Depends on who goes first, and whether the Mane6 jump to end-game quicker than normal.

 

G1 Tirek tended to not escalate when he was involved personally. He used minions a lot, but when he entered the fray directly he usually brought his full arsenal to bear immediately. Not a patient villain at all.

 

The Mane 6, on the other hand, tend to start small and escalate up to the heavy hitting.

 

Full power, the Mane 6 have the upper hand with the Elements of Harmony, or now Rainbow Power. But they may not get to full power if they underestimate their opponent from the get-go and start out small.

The mane 6 will totally defeat him. Remember, the Rainbow Power blocks any and every evil blast, which is the magic of friendship.

If he could somehow put one of the mane 6 permanently out of commission then he has it in the bag. As they have shown they need all 6 spirits of harmony to activate the elements/rainbow power, if he could kill off one of them then he wins as they cannot use their WMD's. But if he stalls, and allows them time to go through the classic "build up to win" bs that FiM always does, then he has lost. Even more so if the mane 6 just skip the build up and just blast him with rainbow power from the get go.

All he has to do is smash the new castle or stomp on one of the mane 6.

Also, the mane 6 aren't going to rainbow up  immediately in the blink of an eye and destroy him just like that! I'm pretty sure that they're going to have to do at least something to activate that power.

Tirek will defiantly have time to smash them/blow something up/etc while they are trying to rainbow up. (if they even have that power anymore)

For all we know, the rainbow power up is either gone completely now that it was opened and used or it could be within the castle (as we saw the rainbow coming out of that giant star in the castle at the end of the finale).

And lets not forget how powerful G1 Tirek is, he could kill them with one hit or one measly little stomp.

Queen Majesty CREATED the ponies! She was the most powerful unicorn to exist in G1! She was arguably more powerful than Celestia as she could create foals and filly's out of nothingness!

Nope, he wasn't paralyzed whatsoever. Tirek simply levitated him like he did with the cage. Discord was properly moving throughout being levitated, therefore - not paralyzed.

Nope, he wasn't paralyzed whatsoever. Tirek simply levitated him like he did with the cage. Discord was properly moving throughout being levitated, therefore - not paralyzed.

In all honesty, that looks like he was changing positions rather than having his arms pinned down. But let's say you were right about the pinning of the arms. Does pinning someone down with magic prove he is still stronger? No. Even Twilight could do that with Spike pre-alicornation. Any unicorn could do that, actually. I mean, Tirek is larger and Discord is somewhat skinny and smaller. So it wold be easy for him just like it would be for a unicorn to do it on someone smaller. And one more thing, they still didn't BATTLE. All he did was pin him down! They still weren't fight at all.
