I was like "WTF?", "Why is the hell is Megadeth under A7x?". There's a mixture of good bands (At the Gates, Children of Bodom, Amon Amarth) and then you have all these shitty bands. Well, at least it's diverse.

Are people seriusly talking about MCR on here? Like dafuq you guys are such posers. If you guys are going to talk about a non-metal band, could you guys make sure it's a good band like The Pixies, The Smiths or Joy Division.

So, I like listening to shit when I'm sad

No need to get snarky, bud. We're allowed to like what we want, you know. Just because it isn't death metal doesn't mean it's not good. We've talked about alot here, even hip-hop once or twice.

Damn that's a lot of different bands,

Dude, calm down, we all have different opinions

Yep, we've brought up quite a bit of non-metal stuff, even ambient stuff was mentioned here once before, I'm pretty sure

Yes, because every band you don't like is automatically a shitty band img-1309397-2-derpy_emoticon2.png

Well, maybe not Cryptopsy and Havok. I've listened to like one Rob Zombie song and I haven't listened to Fintroll yet.

This is like one of the VERY FEW rap songs that I like.

Being like that to someone isn't really doing much at all, even if they are offending you

Also I feel like leaving an In Flames track, because why not

I kinda like that song, I don't like the vocals but I like the guitar.

This is one of my favorite In Flames songs.

And some more melodeath.

I'm not too surprised that you don't really like the vocals, for some reason, Come Clarity to me is a good album, however just don't listen to Dead End, I don't really get why they invited that girl to sing, kind of ruins the song, not that I have anything against female vocalists, I just felt that track didn't need the female vocals. Some of the better songs off of Come Clarity were Leeches, Take This Life, Reflect The Storm, and Your Bedtime Story Is Scaring Us. Also Episode 666 was a good song.

I've tried listening to the title track from Come Clarity a few times now and I just hate it. I really don't like the vocals and it just sounds too soft for me. As for female vocalists, the only band I like woith a female singer is Arch Enemy. They're probably the most well known melo death band from Sweden.

The title track, while I don't hate it, I have to say that it isn't that good in comparison to the other tracks that are from that album. As for Arch Enemy I've heard of them but I haven't bothered listening to anything by them.

Have you ever had that experiance when you listen to a band and you think they're kinda meh but, then you start liking them more and more to the point where they become a favorite of yours? That happaned to me with Destruction.

They're speed/thrash, and take a while to get used to.

Happened to me with Death Grips, at first I didn't like the whole Industrial/Hip-Hop crossover, but then they grew onto me and now I have Exmilitary on my iPod and I will be buying The Money Store sometime.

Also, if I were to get an older In Flames album, what would you guys recommend?

Okay in all seriousness I don't think I remember seeing you post that, so it is just a coincidence

I do love the Unforgiven, but for some reason I like Unforgiven II just a bit more. It is possibly due to it's unique tone while continuing the story of the first.

I just posted that to make fun of RD, though yeah Unforgiven, I'll admit is actually not that bad of a song which is coming from the person who doesn't even like Thrash Metal too much at all.

I'm not even that big a fan of "The Unforgiven".

I prefer songs from And Justice For All, Master of Puppets, and Death Magnetic. I also like some stuff from Ride the Lightning, Kill Em All, and the Black Album.

The only Metallica albums I don't like are Load, Reload, and St. Anger.

Eh. Come Clarity is probably the softest track on the album. I haven't listened to the whole album, but I don't really like the title track either. Not because of clean vocals or anything, it just seems a bit cheesey.

Also, Angela Gossow really is cool. I want to listen to some more female vocalists, but I can't really find many. Alisa White-Gluz from the Agonist is really flexible in vocals. And her fry's are deep as phuk for a person without testicles.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ftve6Acwkec

Also, Therion has some cool-ass female vocalists. Pretty sure they have two females, and three males. One of the few symphonic metal bands which I feel doesn't add female vocals "just to make it more symphonic".

No growls in this one though. They lost Mats Leven by that album, at he does all the harsh vocals.

Lunar Strain is my favorite, I don't know about everyone else.

Bro, you should listen to Exodus. In fact Kirk Hammett used to be in Exodus before he left to join Metallica.

Coroner. Coroner or GTFO.

And you don't even mention Sodom. Shame on you.

I was on Facebook and saw this.

HEAVY MTL FESTIVAL AD

I'm gonna state this on record. Heavy TO and Heavy MTL are crap Canadian metal festivals. Rule of Thumb, MTL > TO. No exceptions.

THEY EVEN HAVE FUCKING HAVOK AND REVOCATION. What do I get? CRAP.

Shit man, why haven't I seen this before. 21 minutes of straight-up Meshuggah?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBEUTntgMOI

And to keep with the djent.

I've been bored as hell recently, to be honest. Might start exploring some other music genres if I ever decided to get out from under the rock I currently reside in.

That's because Destruction owns Sodom, sucka.
