Sure it's not metal, but here's my meager Swans collection:

That's better than me :V I only have a copy of the Sneer.

Anyway, I went to a fucking amazing concert yesterday. You Blew It!, Modern Baseball, Light Years, and Mixtapes. After the show I was talking to all of the bands with my friends, and even got a free CD and some merch signed. =J

I was too busy watching Hetalia today that I didn't listen to much music. But I did listen to Deicide's self-titled.

And now I'll watch more Hetalia.

Pardon my recent absence, and pardon my recent Born of Osiris whoring.

The bass holds this song together when you can actually hear it.

This track right here got me into this band. It's a nice track, and I like the vocalists vocals, both clean and unclean. I also am really liking "Secular Haze" by Ghost.

That's because Ghost's new album is AOTY material.

That being said, here's a favorite of mine.

Well this is...interesting...but really really friggin' cool

I'm totally gonna listen to this whole thing. This album is so awesome.

If you look around you'll find a lot of 8-bit metal covers. It's some pretty gnarly stuff if you ask me.

I swear this would make a great a Castelvania soundtrack.

While this is not strictly metal, it's Emo and Post-Hardcore, and I've seen that being posted a lot here

Listening to this album is a great way of killing time :v

Holy shit, this should be my new signature

I've been pretty busy recording some stuff for my new DSBM project and stuff :V I'm doing a split with a guy soon, and we might even get a cassette pressing for it.

I love the people who say there's no good black metal past 2000. They obviously haven't been looking in the right places :V

No, it just is in one of those phases, the Metal thread has been like that several times before I think

Some of Converge's early stuff

Converge's old stuff is pretty sick

Well I'm back from northern California and ready to get back into the posting flow.

I tend to get my prog on whenever I'm in planes. That being said, I had to sleep on the plane on the way back, so I put on the first three ISIS albums back to back.

This one is still my favorite of theirs.

WAIT SHIT I STILL HAVEN'T LISTENED TO PALMS YET *runs to TPB*

Just started with this band I heard of a while ago called The Boy Will Drown. They play a grindy-mathy breed of metal, and I'm liking them so far. So far Fetish seems like a really solid album.

And they cover a Municipal Waste song.

Shoot me now, but I like this version a bit more than the original. I'M NOT TOO BIG ON THRASH ;______;

So Palms let me down a bit. It started off great, but just got boring after a while. I liked it, but I had higher hopes for it.

This screamo album from Barrow is the high point for the genre this year's, and it sounds great on vinyl too.
