Well since we're posting non-metal...I'm not much for hip-hop, but I really dig this song. I love the bass.

Also, I dig this song, although I haven't listened to this band besides this song.

Why you gots to be so mean man? :,(

I listened to Document #8 before school started today in the morning.

Document 8 is an amazing Screamo album and all, but Chaos Is Me will always remain as my favorite in Screamo

Never got into much pop-punk, tbh. Just Wonder Years, Neck Deep, and old Green Day because Dookie is a legitimate record, c'mon.

HEY LOOK NEW SUMERIAN DJENTCORE BAND.

Is there a problem?

Even though I've moved past Green Day's stuff, Dookie will always be a classic

Gonna post my favorite Husker Du song, New Day Rising is another one of those albums that I've been digging since 8th grade.

I think that you'll be happy to hear that I've grown into Husker Du, and while we're on the topic of Alternative bands that mix Post-Hardcore influences

EVER FORTHRIGHT IN 4 DAYS FUCK YES.

COME ON YOU KNOW THIS SHIT'S AWESOME. I just wish that they didn't follow the route of every popular djent band and title their tours so shitily. Ever Forthright's DO YOU EVEN RIFF TOUR? Srsly?

Yay for more unnecessarily gory goregrind :3

It's like grindcore but with even less meaningful lyrics :D

But I'm not even upset. Btw that's a nice avi you got there, it matches Moog's. ;3

OH YOU BET IT DOES.

Sometimes it's fun just to look up extremely gory bands so that you can read their lyrics, I remember once reading the lyrics to a song named Razorized Ball-Gag, such beautiful and poetic lyrics.

I've yet to meet someone who doesn't like this album.  People either like it or haven't heard of it.

Looks like we're shifting to older punk so I'll throw some 7 Seconds at it.

Pick that album up if you haven't.  Literally one of the best live recordings I've ever heard.

Non-metal stuff? Alrighty then...

I'm disappointed that none of you posted something from the UK EDM scene

This shit is an impressive mix of Dubstep, Garage and Jungle. If you can get into the vocal samples, then this is just pure gold

Some Wonky stuff with lots of Purple Sound and Dubstep. A real banger, love this song to death

I was wondering when you'd come by and post some UK EDM.

That took me a while :S

Awesome choice there, Funeral is easily one of my favorite albums ever

Anyways, I'll carefully steer this thread back to the original topic with some His Hero is Gone. I adore Fifteen Counts as Arson

De-railing again with some beautiful, ethereal, k-pop/electronic stuff. She only has this EP out but an album is in the works that I am very much looking forward to.

I'll lunge sharply back with some of my rekindled love of Animosity.

Animal was a really underrated release and it's too bad they stopped making tunes after that.

DON'T GO BACK TO METAL JUST YET I WANNA MAKE MY CONTRIBUTION

I'll actually go super fucking mellow on all y'all and pour my love for The Tallest Man on Earth all over.

Nick Drake meets Bob Dylan. And he's Swedish.

And also I might as well leave one more non-Metal contribution

Pretty good stuff if your tastes in electronic are really old school and retro

Now back to Metal

I really REALLY wanna get Wrongdoers

Blah blah blah, Haven't posted in a while, blah blah blah, 100 characters, blah blah blah, Iron Maiden!

One major problem I have with the Post-2000 Maiden albums is they repeat choruses WAY too many times. I mean, they repeat the line "Out of the Silent Planet" 36 TIMES!!

Took long enough for it to ship here, damn.

Time for some TOMORROW WE DIE ALIVE. My inner love of over-produced/hyped deathcore really wants this album to stack up with The Discovery, but I don't know if it can.

The Wild Hunt is looking to be one of my favorite albums in folk music of all time.

Listened to both of these. They're supposed to be really progressive and fusion-laden, but I only catch glimpses of it in Atheist's music.

I prefer something like this for 90's fusion metal whatnots.

There's a charm to the retro production on this album that I love.

Seeing these guys live was fantastic.  I miss Madison's Loft shows, they haven't been the same these days.

The new singer and tone made them irrelevant for me.

FUCK ME SIDEWAYS.

I haven't enjoyed this band's material this much since Portals. Hearkening back to the days of their debut, Hits From the Bow (appropriate, since one of their old vocalists has made a return), and adding more influence from stuff like Pig Destroyer and Mr. Bungle, and you have a really solid and spastic deathcore release that may be my favorite in the genre this year.
