Ever converted anyone to the herd?

Gotten some people to at least give it a look and come away respecting it but not entirely invested. May have converted my parents, as they actually started watching some episodes on their own, so I'm pretty happy about that.

According to some survey somewhere, most like Rainbow Dash. Was not expecting that result but I suppose it makes sense.

My mom's friend's daughter is 12 and she had never seen the show until I was watching it one day and sat down and watched it with me. She is now about a quarter of the way through the second season.

:PEGASISTER_CONVERSION_UNDERWAY: Well, the other day, we had this Volleyball get together thingymabopper at our house, and after a while we (me and some of my friends who were girls (my other guy friend was still playing volleyball)) went inside. We decided we would play some Minecraft, so we did, but then, we got bored. Shocking, I know. It should be impossible to get bored of Minecraft... But anyways, we went downstairs to see what my little nephew and niece were doing... And there it happened. I owe it all to Little Bear, the stupidest little kids' show on earth. I had mentioned my bronyhood to the two girls, and since Little Bear was SOOOO dumb, the elder said, "Well, why don't we watch My Little Ponies?" I was utterly shocked. I said, "You- You're serious?" A repeat of that basic phrase and a variation of "yes" went on for a bit. So, we went and looked up an episode guide, and then decided they would watch Applebuck Season. I decided not to watch with them, as I thought it might be a bit awkward watching MLP with a non-brony/pegasister. They also watched Lesson Zero, one of my favorite episodes. Now, I'm not sure whether they're actually pegasisters, but they enjoyed the show. B)

Can't recall if I posted in a thread like this or before...

Does my brother count?

LSS (long story short), after showing a few Kyrospawn videos to my brother, I showed him a parody series (Friendship is Witchcraft) and he thought it was the real deal.

I converted 2 people into a Brony, and I think they are enjoying it, hope they convert more.

  • 2 weeks later...

Well, I've had no luck converting my sisters. It's too girly for them, I guess. My oldest sister doesn't think it's funny enough. I showed my sisters the season 2 finale, and they still aren't convinced. I think they're too firm of haters to like it. Though, my oldest sister very well could, if it was more funny (she likes Pinkie the best ).

I've converted my boyfriend and two friends.

My boyfriend and best friend helped convert another friend to bronyism. xD

I'm working on my brother now...

I think I'm close to converting my best friend, when I told her I watched the show she was completely ok with it, she even said that they were cute.

I would always joke with her about her joining the herd, but It would be sooooooo cool if she did.

~I love the way Storm Spark makes love to me! No one is as manly as he is~

  • 9 years later...

I had the privilege to do it right at the University where I became a brony myself. I showed him Sonic Rainboom and some other stuff. He was so open and got hooked. To this day, I hope he's still in the herd and has some brony friends.

Converted might be a strong word, but one of my best friends gave it a shot a few years after finding out I was into it. They’re not in the herd, aka the fandom, but they like the show now. I didn’t ask them to watch it, though, so I don’t know if that counts.

On 2012-03-23 at 7:14 AM, I used to be a stranger said:

Three and I didn't mean it all. They were accidents, I promise!

A similar thing happened to me. I talked about the show so much that some of my friends gave it a chance! (^_^)

no honestly hehe :mlp_rarity: most of the time I keep the 'brony' things to myself unless it's someone I'm close to. People either don't care or they watch the show but don't think much of it

I have.  An online friend.  Told him to give it a shot and he did.  He ended up liking it.  He’s not really into the fandom and doesn’t like the show to the level I do, but he likes it a lot so.  :mlp_icwudt:
