music Does anyone buy albums anymore?

Typically I only buy CDs if I can't purchase the songs off of iTunes. So really only obscure music and soundtracks. On a rare occasion I will buy a CD for a band I love... Like I have a couple of Chicago CDs and a The Doors CD, even though they're all available on iTunes.

When buying an album, I ALWAYS look for the vinyl first. CD's are the next best thing.
When I buy music, I like to get something TANGIBLE for my money, not just bits in cyberspace.

I buy Owl City albums, but that's one of the only artists I can listen to a whole album of without skipping tracks.

I like CD's, but It's easier to have many albums on my iPod than change CDs a million times.

Plus, CDs will get scratched by my brother...

Lol I don't have money for albums...I have no money at all.

 

The last cd I got was way back in 5th grade. It was a Jesse McCartney album. I had a bit of an obsession with him as a kid.

 

But yeah, I'm a sad broke teenager. If I had money I would probably spend it on ponies before a cd...

I prefer albums over single songs, unless they are singles, whether they're CDs or digital. Just bought Oxymoron a few days ago, in fact.

I ALWAYS buy my albums/CD's at live shows. I just went to Mayhem fest and picked up both Mushroomhead and a Korn album. I find that it is one of the best ways to support a band.
