Are my best friend's little sisters technically pegisisters?

My best friend has 3 sisters(and a fourth is on the way!!! :3)

My bff is the oldest and the next one down is 13ish, IDK if she likes/watches the show.

But the younger ones, which are around 10 and 11, do watch My Little Pony. I've seen them both in tee-shirts-  the youngest's favorite pony is Pinkie Pie. Sooo...

Are they technically pegisisters? Would your answer be different if they we boys?

If you go by the generally accepted definition that bronies and pegasisters are anyone outside of the target demographic who likes the show, then I'd say they're not really. They might qualify if they were boys because from what I've seen, especially with the toys, the target demographic is young girls from something like 5-10 years old. Then again, as Envy said, the terms 'brony' and 'pegasister' are just labels. They can call themselves that if they want to, but since they're pretty much within the target demographic, I doubt anyone else would call them that. Also, if they choose to use those labels, it doesn't matter which one they use. Some girls call themselves bronies and others prefer pegasister. It doesn't matter, really.

I never saw the term Brony as male in definition.  I see it more as Brother in ponies (brother as in ally so to speak).

You should probably ask them if they're "Pegasisters" lol.  Also, they might prefer to identify as Bronies rather than Pegasisters.  Or maybe they just like watching ponies and don't particularly care what you call them. xD

Keep in mind that Brony and Pegasister are not forms of scientific classification; they're simply labels or nametags of a sort.  "Hey, you like this thing, so you are a...  PegaBrony.  It is now easier for me to either mock you online or, alternatively, claim a kinship between us."  I, personally, am a PegaMister.

That's their choice as to what they want to be called.

I've never heard the term PegaMister before. That's awesome!!

Yeah,  I should probably ask them first... :3 But They're soon going to be 11 and 12, 12 and 13 often considered older watches of the show. You have to understand, they see themselves as older. During the preteen tears, girls, and guys IDK, shun anything that is "baby-ish". They want to seem grown up and stuff. But they watch My Little  Pony. I really depends on what they think, really.

I gave up that mind-set a long time ago. :P:)

My poor best friend- she has 3 little sisters and the fourth is due in October. Can you imagine having 5 girls? Two teens, two preteens, and *soon* a BABY?!?!?!

If they watch other shows other than MLP:FiM, like Adventure Time, or anything that they love other than dem ponies, then probably. (P.S. I'd preferably call anyone a brony, male, female, young, or old...)

Though, feel free to call them anything to your own preference... You can call them from Brony Senpais to Little Brony Angels... XD :P
