I do understand why this ship got less popular over time, but I still think it should be more popular. They're different enough to make for good conflicts, but they're similar enough for the relationship to work. At their best, they're perfect foils for each other, bringing out the best in each other. I think it was a great idea to make Twilight and Pinkie the focus of the movie, even if it. wasn't written very well.
