Anyway, the cart should leave a visible trail on the ground due to the weight of the trees, despite the Everwood axels magically making the load lighter.

It's a castle, we have room for plenty. ^^ And untested can be fun, how I got Last Stand and Vivid Loss made so far, by having a base idea and then seeing what it leads to Go for it.

It was my intent to have Charlie create the portal behind the door before it was opened, leading to the 'hallway,' then to a door that would lead to Vivid's dream, sort of like in the episode 'Bloom and Gloom.' We can continue from here if you would prefer, I will just have Charlie be impressed by Briar's control over his dream. I won't be posting for about five to six hours (I'm at work, on break right now), so just let me know what you decide.

 

Also, I wanted to have Charlie describe the fight along the way.

Consider the part with Vivid's dream as how it is when they get there then. When they reach that point, I will move that section from the current post and to there. It's no issue really, and the travel sounds fun. ^^ And so far, the door's just a door. Briar was only told to imagine it after all. Doesn't mean he knows anything else.

@@Melke, I used a rift to get to you.If you want, you can use the fact that a teleport happen near the "maybe" closed up golden rift to like distabilise the area or stuff to create an unwanted portal with monsters or stuff like that. Or you can ignore it. It's fine by me. Just picturing the possible turn of events...

If she's in the cart, he might not be able to see her right away without at least looking over the side of the cart (she is small), unless she's on top of the topmost log. But if she is up high enough to be seen, I would at least think Missklang would notice the cart first.

By the way, one of these doors belongs to Blitz. If you want to add her in, you can, just remember Blitz shouldn't be aware of the door. Whatever happens on one side of the door can be heard on the other side though.

P.S. When I say "shouldn't" I don't mean "can't"
