I allocated my OCs to Manehattan for a touch of uniqueness as opposed to Ponyville, but looking at these posts, it seems pony OCs aren't as cliched as I once thought when it comes to living areas.

My OC, Orion Skies was born in Canterlot. He grew up living a life of luxury but eventually ran away when his thirst for adventure became too overwhelming to resist. He is currently a nomad who would sleep anyway he can. He has no permanent home and doesn't plan on having one. It just doesn't fit his traveling lifestyle.

 

My second OC, Florafilla, was born and raised in a small house along the border of Ponyville. After she was finished with her schooling, she moved to a beautiful and rare forest region that she discovered hidden deep within the Everfree Forest. She lives in a very tall cottage that she made from a redwood tree.

Rosemary was born in Vanhoover, all of her family are well known fighters. Rosemary's family's fighting style is based off of an american hybrid martial art, Kajukenbo. So Rosemary can adapt to any given situation she comes across.

I have a few:

 

Myst (F/Earthen) and Stormy Skies (F/Pegasus): Hail from Ivystone, a large-ish town on the far side of the Great Everfree Forest. Fairly wealthy, thriving market town.

 

Buckshot (M/Unicorn) and Wire Snare (M/Unicorn): Hail from Canterlot, the lower districts. Not rich, but not poor by any stretch of the imagination.

 

Nightblossom (F/Unicorn): Hails from Canterlot also, but from a low-noble home in the richest area near the castle.

 

Shimmerglint (F/Changeling-pony): Hails from Canterdale, the town in the shadow of Canterlot. Bit rough, but friendly enough in its own way.

 

Kinter (F/Earthen): Hails from the outlands (Frozen in winter, desertlike in summer), from Farvale- the furthest pony settlement from the capital, Canterlot City, as there is. Fairly close to the Changeling Hive.

 

Greyscale: (M/Earthen): Hails from the boring bit of Ponyville, where the accountants exist. Tax Returns!

 

There were more, but my OC Dump has gone walkies...Nightblossom is my favourite of these though:)
