I think I see a bit of myself in Sunset Shimmer. She was down and out, and is now trying to rise up again in the face of adversity. Against all the odds, even if the whole world is against her. She's an inspiration to us all.

Couldn't agree more, exactly how I see her. Gotta love how resilient she is, takes a lot of guts  :)

I love how awesome she is in this scene, totally nailed her guitar tryout :D

Yeah, but it wasn't available at my country. I saw none online so I didn't get a chance to watch it :(

Love this, shows Sunset's turnaround perfectly :), I was so happy to see her being needed at the end

Didn't care for her much at all throughout and following the first movie, she didn't make a very good villain. Being a villain and being reformed in the marvelous way she was though, has made me a fan of her, so it all worked out to have a worthwhile purpose in the end, anyway.

In terms of Sunset as a villain, she was perhaps the MLP villain I feared the most as she was the one I have been most accustomed to, namely the school bully. Her transformation at the end was like something straight out of Buffy season 3 which I loved.
