Honestly, this is why "Sunset Shimmer in Equestria" is one of those things I still want to see before the series ends. Granted that is questionable whether it will happen, but this...this is why. I'm not even speaking of a permanent stay; I just want to see something like this between Sunset & Celestia.

@@Nightmare Muffin, I agree, 100%. One of these days, they are gonna push Sunset over the edge and that is gonna be an Epic blowout. 

 

But yes, I would really love to see Sunset back in Equestria.

Also, can you imagine how she would react to meeting Princess Luna, or even Discord   I can see Sunset and Luna being as thick as thieves.

@@Moonlit, I know I'm stating the obvious but for Celestia's sake SUNNY IS THE ONLY GREAT THING ABOUT THE EQG MOVIES!!!!  

 

I know fans are excited to see a Celestia and Sunset reunion but I like the idea of Sunset becoming Luna's student. Mainly because they're both reformed villains so they can obviously see each other eye to eye. Plus, they're the only two reformed villains I personally really like. (I don't know if the Dazzlings count as reformed and I see Trixie more of an antagonist than a villain).

been supporting the LunaShim mentor and friends relationship, so that they both learn and grow from one another for YEARS. Dream hasn't died. Hope Sunbury passes her off to her sister. It would be the best thing ever.

 

And currently, Sunny has no mentor. Twilight is her friend who she asks for advice, on occasion. But not her mentor in the way that Sunbury was to her

NEVER MIND WHAT i said!!!! NEVER MIND WHAT I SAID!!!!! @@Light Blade, I'm really sorry. I was, uh... captivated by Luna.   @@Nightmare Muffin, Luna is a great princess but Twilight is an even GREATER PRINCESS! It has even been proven she's her mentor. At the end of Rainbow Rocks, Sunny wrote a letter to Twilight. Also, Sunny is learning about FRIENSHIP and Twilight is the PRINCESS OF FRIENDSHIP. Sunny doesn't even know Luna because Luna was banished at the time Sunny was Tia's student. Twilight is the ONLY PONY she has had contact with in a long time, and they've grown very close, enough for them to be mentor and student. There is no doubt that in my mind that Twilight IS Sunny's mentor, indirectly.

 

And you know very well why she's not in Equestria.
