Negativity on certain episodes by those reviewers I mentioned ruined a majority of Season 3 for me.

 

It was only after I went back and watched Season 3 that I began to enjoy it.

 

The same goes for Sunset Shimmer, as those same reviewers said she was a poorly written villain 

 

but, I personally liked her more in that role up until recently.

I don't even want to know what they have to say about "Keep Calm and Flutter On." It's one of my favorites.

 

You were there during the Alicorn controversy in 2013? Oh man, that must have been tense. From what I heard about it, it almost makes me feel glad that I joined the herd late (nah, not really, just exaggerating lol)

I just hope that Sunset doesn't start getting regulated to the status of secondary character because Sci-Twi has become part of the group.

I thought that was a little annoying as well seeing as Sunset clawed her way up from being at the lowest point in her life to where she is now.

Maybe, they're planning on positing Sci Twi to be the new main focus of the Equestria Girls franchise instead

Equestria Girls wouldn't even be where it is right now if not for Sunset. She was the one that changed it into a brand that has gone and made a name for itself. If she hadn't stepped up and assumed a leadership role in that sense, EQG wouldn't have made it past Rainbow Rocks or even had it become a reality.

Then, maybe the reason was that Legends of Everfree was more focused on Sci Twi then Sunset Shimmer and that's why

 

Sci Twi was on the spine of the DVD case instead of Sunset Shimmer.

I'd like to think that both Sunset and Sci-Twi were given equal amounts of screentime despite Legend of Everfree focusing more towards Sci-Twi overcoming her doubts with regards to magic.

If Sunset Shimmer ends up like Pony Twilight on the main show then, it'd be FiM 2.0

 

Also, I think this GIF makes it look like Sunset Shimmer is saying "I have Lice."  In my opinion.

I know I wouldn't care as much about Equestria Girls if Sunset was gone because, she's the one thing that

 

makes it different from the main show.

I'd still watch Equestria Girls because it was what brought me into the fandom, but I wouldn't see it the same way if Sunset were to be taken out of it.
