Let's start off with some lineart. I know a lot of people don't like these kinds of pics because of the lack of both colour and background but that shouldn't be a detriment. These can actually look better without the other factors thrown in.

Why are these two standing in water? I don't know. It's probably best not to question the artist or the overall image.

Another 3D image. Like I've said before, I like these from a technological standpoint regardless of whether it's human, pony, anthro, or a mixture of the three. They show how far we've come in terms of technology though we can easily go beyond this in the years to come.

Sunset and Rainbow Dash. To me, Rainbow seems to be the wrong shade of blue but I'm not going to knock it against the artist. On another note, we don't get to see Sunset interact all that much with Rainbow in the show despite the two being friends. I mean, they both hang out but don't get to talk to one another unless one of the others are around. A shame really as I think these two need some more bonding time. Good thing that one upcoming special could provide us with that.

With her knitting skills, Rarity can make just about anything no matter how difficult it looks. I'm surprised that Twilight would want a tiny plushie of Tempest Shadow and not say either Starlight or Princess Celestia. There's nothing wrong with Tempest but you have to wonder why the artist went in this direction. Sunset went with Adagio though she looks like she doesn't appreciate it though her blushing expression says otherwise.

On the topic of Ponies and Transformers. It's taken me this long to notice that Sunset and Hot Rod share the same color palate, name scheme similar to an established character and both changed when they took the McGuffin(Matrix of Leadership/Element of Magic).

Even though Sunset can be somewhat of the jealous type due to her temperament, she does know the value of keeping it under control especially when it comes to the happiness of a friend. In this case, Pinkie's happiness though she's more interested in the ornament of her pony self.

Wouldn't it be cool if pony Sunset literally came out from your Christmas tree?

We don't get much fanart of Sunset when she is in her demonic form from the first Equestria Girls movie but it is nice to see it. I know she's moved on from that but it is a part of her overall character and shouldn't be overlooked regardless. I would consider this fanart to be more along the sultry kind which is why there is a spoiler tag involved. She's also an anthro here which is a nice touch as this is even rarer.

This one exists as both a suggestive and non-suggestive image but I feel that the former works so much better here.

Lastly... I have another Christmas image--I know it's past that day now but it's still appropriate for this time of the year. I would've shared the black and white image but I feel this one works way better with colour. If there was one thing about this fanart that I don't like, it would be the size of Sunset's bust in proportion to the rest of her body. I can understand artists wanting to provide 'appeal' but it can serve as a detriment if you go completely overboard. Even her toned stomach doesn't make much sense but I can look past that as being an addition the artist wanted to include for reasons. I do love Sunset's expression though.

No. I watch Equestria Girls for all of the characters with Sunset Shimmer being one of them.

I know not everyone likes anthro but I think you will like this one.

We're still in the holiday season so this image here is still appropriate even though the day it celebrates happened a week ago--as of the moment I typed this so ignore this if you're from the future.

Hmmm... Now this is an offer that's very difficult to refuse.

I still have more Christmas themed images to show... such as this one for instance. With those cute little antlers on her head, pony Sunset could easily pass herself off as one of Santa's reindeer--she would have her own magic that would enable her to fly as opposed to using Christmas magic.

For the time being, what I will be sharing here will be leftovers from 2018 until the 2019 ones come along. The leftovers are from all walks of life so expect pretty much anything even if they are deemed outdated.

Either they are asleep due to natural causes or they got bored to sleep by something. I do like the little bit of drool on Sunset's mouth to indicate that she is asleep; a cute little detail many might not even notice.

These two were able to hit it off straight away during the events of 'Mirror Magic' and the fandom has run with it ever since.

Santa Sunset... while she may look luxurious, she is on a mission to ensure that all the children in the world receive their gifts. How does she do this? Most likely using her own magic as opposed to Christmas magic. I'm curious as to what could be in the teacup she's holding.

Many of these leftover images are going to be Christmas themed so expect this to be a trend for about a week at the minimum. While the one above this one didn't warrant a spoiler tag, this one certainly does because of what you can see.

Still going through leftover 2018 pics be they Christmas or otherwise. Again, this is going to be a thing from me for a while.

Sunset rocks the Santa outfit with or without the hat.

Sunset and Twilight as deer with accessories that scream Christmas. Would I chalk this up one as an alternate universe? I'd say so. I also like how their front legs are locked together indicating both friendship and the obvious shipping.

Pinkie Pie may be the center of attention in this one, yet her friends can also be seen though they are more simplistic in nature, and are merely heads.

Not everything is Christmas themed as I said. Case in point, this one here of Sunset and Adagio. Considering how popular the Dazzlings are amongst the fandom, it's still surprising that they haven't been seen since Rainbow Rocks barring their cameo appearance in Shadow Play--which was a past scene that retconned a few things.

Do you notice what Twilight has in her lap? I do and for some reason it immediately made me think of Kirby. Also, I have no idea what is going on but perhaps it's best not to ask such questions and just go with it. Even though this one isn't suggestive in any way, I have to use a spoiler tag due to Twilight showing off unintentional skin in the most obvious place.

They have been jumping up and down now for the past seven hours yet Fluttershy insists that they keep on going until she is completely satisfied. I know that's not the significance behind this animated screenshot but I wanted to have a bit of fun and come up with something silly.

This is the fanart that Silver Quill used for his Friendship Games review over on YouTube. The fact that he is able to outrun Sunset whilst she's riding a motorbike shows you that he is no mere mortal/hippogriff.

@Sparklefan1234 That does seem to be the theory a lot of people tend to believe in when it comes to the 'human' Sunset or a variation of it.

Subtlety, thy name is Sunset Shimmer.

Not only has the art style grown on me and gotten better over time, I feel as though I can relate to Adagio more often when she is portrayed as innocent and wanting to have meaning in her life as opposed to what she was given in Rainbow Rocks.

This front view could've been used for something special of mine that I'm working on but unfortunately it couldn't be used. I needed to use something that was more akin towards anime so instead, I'll just share it right here and let you all enjoy it.

We may be six days into 2019 as of this typing but New Years pics are still considered accurate at this point.

Sunset and Adagio again with the former being portrayed as a male this time. It's not often to see gender swaps in MLP fanart but they do happen and people's reaction to them varies from person to person. Me? I don't see anything wrong with it. It's just a unique take is all. In any case, Adagio certainly isn't complaining.

Whatever Rarity is trying to do here, Applejack doesn't like it, and everyone else is just humoured by it. Well... except for Pinkie Pie who has her eyes set on something else, and Fluttershy who seems to be more concerned with Pinkie.

Sunset and Aria. To be honest, these two are rarely seen together given that they don't really have much in common with one another. I suppose there is a first time for everything though or some people believe they can work.

Again, I know a lot of people don't like this particular pairing, but I think there is a genuine connection Sunset and Flash have with each other. Granted, Sunset did admit back in Rainbow Rocks that she used him for her own purposes, but that doesn't mean a spark can't exist. Oh, and this is my first 2019 Sunset image which means I've finally gotten through the leftovers from 2018.

Okay, I had to share this one for obvious reasons.

Lineart like this right here is really good thus making the question of adding colour to it a questionable one. Yes, I said it like that. Don't try and make sense of it otherwise it could give you a headache.

I haven't been here in quite some time, but things are still looking pleasant. I'm hoping to be active in the forum fanclubs again, especially the one for our favourite bacon haired pony/human.

This is a rather simple artwork of Sunset, but I find it to be quite adorable. Why? Well, I feel that the eyes, mouth and snout were drawn really well, making those features stand out from the rest of the image - which were also done nicely.
