For me my favorite cartoon is Ed, Edd N Eddy because I grew up with that show and it's still fun everytime I watch it.

As much as I enjoy MLP:FiM, I wouldn't say that it's the greatest cartoon ever.  My personal favorite would have to be Avatar: the Last Airbender.  The concept, the story, and the characters are incredible, and I can't think of anything that even comes close to topping it.

It's probably Dr. Slump. That show is so fascinatingly strange and completely hilarious. I remember one episode in particular where it was 3 poops on an adventure to find the meaning of life.

Animewise, New Mobile Report Gundam Wing is definitely one of my all-time childhood favorites. Even moreso when I actually got around to sitting down and watching it in its entirety.

 

Western animation...hm. Probably a tie between Courage the Cowardly Dog and Invader Zim. God I miss those two.

Ok, I need some set rules before I can answer this: Is anime included? Are cartoon/animated films included?

 

I'll put both those answers as "no", and limit myself to Western animated tv series. In which case the obvious answer is Spiderman: The Animated Series...or Batman...or X-men, dammit  :okiedokielokie:
