It was a behind his back sort of name. I was the only one who genuinely liked the guy. Still makes me laugh when I hear neck beard lol. It was when I worked at Walmart. Lots of neck beards there.

It is... it really is... For Christmas one year I asked for a spy pen so I could take pictures for People of Walmart. I'd have hundreds every day. I didn't get one, tho. Some of the people I saw still haunt my nightmares....... potato lady....... T ^T

It was one of your standard grossly-overweight ladies in the motor cart. She came through my line and I was being pleasant as always (surprisingly, I was a pleasant Walmart cashier). I rang up her items, and then asked her to pass me the sack of potatoes that she had on the floor of the cart between her legs. She said, "No, you will come around here and scan them."

She was wearing short-shorts. She wasn't wearing underwear.

Hi! I'm Erylic, I wonder if you can draw me my OC Dreamgaze? Sorry I only have a pic of her goofing and flying around upside down, so..I don't know if you can see clearly. It's your choice, you can draw her either upside down or  standing. She's upside down so her hair is like that, her hair isn't up like it looks like, so please mind that if you want to draw Dreamgaze. I leave the rest for your decision not to draw or to draw, toodles!

I'm doing this for a friend who I'm RPing with our OC's Vanylla Sweestu & Crimson Grinn. They're married with two foals (boy and a girl) and expecting another one soon. I was thinking if maybe you could do us cuddling with our foals (If drawing the foals is asking too much then you can draw the two main OC's ^^")

You know, I wasn't gonna say anything. I don't want to come across as rude, but when someone does something for you for free the first thing you should say is "thank you". This drawing should have only taken a couple of hours, but I spent 4 days on it because the program kept crashing. I probably redrew it 3 or 4 times in total because of that. In that time I could have cleared my entire waiting list twice. I almost gave up and said screw it, but I really wanted to finish this drawing to surprise you and I don't even know you. The least I expect is a thank you. :/

 

The way you word things is important, especially to me. Next time try asking in a way that comes across as grateful. "Thank you! I really like it! Is it possible for you to also post separate pictures of them so I can use them on separate character sheets?"

 

Someone please put me in my place if I'm out of line. :/

But the whole point of even having this thread is because I want to get better at drawing vectors, and rather than selfishly draw for myself I would rather spend my time making others smile. A little appreciation is what keeps this thread free. I've already contacted a mod about opening a commission shop, but decided against it (for now at least) because while I could charge $5 or $10 a pony I'd rather give everyone a chance at having a nice looking pony - not just those who can afford it.

 

I don't want anyone else to be afraid of saying "Hey, Moo, you did this wrong". I really don't mind correcting them. These are your characters and I want to make them look the way you imagined them. Just.... remember to say thank you. :/

But the whole point of even having this thread is because I want to get better at drawing vectors, and rather than selfishly draw for myself I would rather spend my time making others smile. A little appreciation is what keeps this thread free. I've already contacted a mod about opening a commission shop, but decided against it (for now at least) because while I could charge $5 or $10 a pony I'd rather give everyone a chance at having a nice looking pony - not just those who can afford it.
