Yeah, Unix-based systems are always going to be superior... but for most people, Windows will be best because it requires less technical know-how.

 

And seriously, if Apple doesn't step it up, they'll lose even more of their market share. They only have about 6.4% right now.

And how alot of People are using Hackintoshes as they are simple to build nowadays.

Do people just have an aversion to the number 9? It's like 9 means you're almost there, but not quite, so they said "f**k it" and jumped right to 10. It might as well be the new 13. I think they did it because they didn't want to be on 9 while Mac's been on X for the last decade or so. If they think they're playing catch up with Mac, are all future versions of Windows going to be called 10 and named for wild dogs? Don't be surprised when Windows 10 Jackal comes out in late 2016!

Windows 10 is Windows 8.1 but much more desirable for desktop users. So far, I love it (especially with the fact that fullscreen apps can run in regula windows!)

At the moment, I feel a little bit too stubborn to want to try the tech preview of Windows 10 at all (same with once W10 gets its final release) because, since buying my new computer, I've started to really enjoy Windows 8.1. But, once it gets its final release, I think I would recommend it to my brothers that don't like Windows 8 as much as me.
