Which sports would Mane 6 be good at?

I'm not talking about Equestria Games, I'm talking about real sports, of course you don't need to take in count RD with soccer in EG

 

Twilight - Chess

Applejack - Athletics (100m hurdles)

Rainbow Dash - American football

Fluttershy - Taekwondo

Rarity - Golf

Pinkie Pie - Rythmic gymnastics

Twilight is apparently a budding marathon runner, if Fall Weather Friends is any indication, though chess would definitely be another of her strengths.

 

I think Equestria Girls had it right. Soccer seems to suit Rainbow Dash, more than American Football (though she may be a fan).

 

With Pinkie Pie's penchant for bouncing everywhere, I can see her getting into diving.

Twilight: Long Distance Running. Marathon most likely. 

 

Rarity: Some form of martial arts. 

 

Applejack: Rodeo. 

 

Fluttershy: Wrestling. 

 

Pinkie Pie: Gymnastics. 

 

Rainbow Dash: Track.

Rainbow Dash is good at EVERYTHING it's canon mwahahaha. Track does seem like an obvious contender. It involves racing, but also gives her a chance to shine in all sorts of activities. Swimming seems to work for her too, and I've always imagined her being built like a swimmer.

 

Pinkie would totally be hyped for cheerleading, assuming you count that as a sport. It'd give her a chance to support her friends and fly around like a maniac

 

Tennis would be Rarity's thing. Classy, hand in hand with fashion and modeling in many ways, sign that lady up . She'd also have a droolworthy one-handed backhand

I'm thinking Rainbow Dash would excel at every game and sport. Except stuff that involved using your brain though of course.

Twilight: I see her as more of a mental athlete than a physical athlete. As such I think she'd be more suited to chess. If she was involved in a more physical sport, she'd be among the bacjroom staff discussing tactics and strategy moreso than anything else.

 

Applejack: I see her mainly as a wrestler; taking her obvious strength and durability into account. I can see her participating in other sports, but I see her as an (olympic, not WWE-ish) wrestler.

 

Rainbow Dash: I think she'd make a perfect soccer player; specifically as a striker or attacking midfielder. She obviously has good eyes for the goal, and she's got speed & agility, so it's obvious for me.

 

Rarity: Someone mentioned tennis, and I would agree with that. Considering Rarity's penchant for focus, I can see her being somewhat successful.

 

Fluttershy: I can see her playing volleyball; team volleyball specifcally. To me she seems more of a team player, and volleyball just seems like it would suit her.

 

Pinki Pie: Considering she's so bouncy with a fair amount of speed, I'd say basketball would be perfect for her.

 

And just because I consider her an unofficial/honorary member:

 

Sunset Shimmer: I can see her fitting into a soccer team as a defender.

Rarity: I see her more as the sports designer, making outfits for the team and all. But, let's see, I have to say Tennis.

Fluttershy: Hmmm... this is hardest one for me, I don't really see her as a Martial Expert person. Some people would consider camping a sport, I think Camping would most likely be her favorite sport, but, since we're looking for ACTUAL sports, hmmm... I could see her as a fan of Tennis perhaps or Volleyball.

Twilight: Having seen Twilight's performance in the Running of the Leaves, long-distance running might be a good fit. However, I can also see Chess appealing to her. 

 

Applejack: Kickboxing would be a good fit for AJ, considering her super strong legs. Rodeo is another option.

 

Rainbow Dash: Rainbow Dash would be a great soccer player, she's fast and has decent ball skills (see 'Fall Weather Friends' and EG1). Furthermore, her competitive nature would help both her and the team.

 

Rarity: Rhythmic gymnastics for Rarity methinks. I can imagine her being very graceful waving around the ribbons, just as she does when making dresses

 

Fluttershy: Fluttershy is the hardest for me to decide on, maybe badminton would appeal to her. The shuttlecock is floaty and gentle, just like her

 

Pinkie Pie: Trampolining would be great for Pinkie, she does love to bounce!
