gaming I'm planning on buying Skyrim

Skyrim is a worthwile game to get. Just don't rush yourself and try to do as much stuff as you can. I personally ignored the main story for a good 50 hours before actually caring. And after your first playthrough, you can change what kind of character you want to be to mix it up. In my first game, I played the stealthy assassin with a bow, and on the second playthrough, I just ran around and smacked people on the head with a hammer. The game feels completely different when you change how you play, so you can do 3 or 4 playthroughs before you get really bored.

I liked Oblivion so much more, I got bored so quick that I don't even know what I was doing. To be honest I thought I should have got the synthesizer I was wanting for my birthday instead of Skyrim after playing it for a bit.

I do not understand why Oblivion seems more popular here than Skyrim. I actually finished Skyrim and enjoyed it immensely. I never finished Oblivion or Morrowind -got lost in all the side-quests.

Also, I much prefer Skyrim's leveling system. With the previous games, you had to worry about "efficient" leveling. In other words, if you wanted the best out of your character, you had to be very careful what skills you raised so that when you leveled you would get 5 points to three attributes (or 5 to two and 1 to luck) without wasting any points. I found that very tedious. With Skyrim, you just play the game and do not worry about "damn it, I used my bow too much and now I am wasting agility points - oh noes!"

Skyrim is awesome. Enjoy being the Dovahkin. Just listen to this beautiful song:

I did enjoy the song even though I have no idea what she said at the end, but when I listen to it, I have no idea what all it's talking about, i only got to the first village and stopped playing and haven't played since last November, so I would forget what all this stuff is unless your talking about Oblivion. I never had a problem with the skills in Oblivion because I knew what skills to put into my character correctly. I did have a problem finishing the main quest, finished it in about 4 days or less, and I did side quest as well during the main quest.

BUY IT.

Though I do enjoy Morrowind and Oblivion, Bethesda did a beautiful job on Skyrim as usual <3

I'm thinking of buying Skyrim too! The only problem is that I haven't been playing too many videogames lately.

Wow, then you really haven't played Skyrim. I would say one should play the main storyline at least until you have shouts to really get a feel for this game.

Okay after looking at your comments and doing my own reasearch i came to the conclusion: i am going to buy it. But now i have another issue. Should i buy it for XboX or PS3, i can't get it for PC becouse my PC isn't good for games, usually they are laggy or they just dont work.

Well, the main reason to get a PC version is so that you can use mods. Then you can have some non-serious fun like this:

Or if you want to be a little more serious, use this one!

I played mine on a PS3 - no issues that I recall.

I finally got around to buying this game for the PS3, and while I have only put a few hours into it thus far, I do believe that the leveling system is a major improvement over previous games, as it does not seem to have major skills and minor/miscellaneous skills, nor are there specialized classes. Instead, it seems that leveling up any skill will contribute to a character getting closer to leveling up, and this seems to provide a player with additional versatility, as in previous titles, one would have to focus on the major skills (and minor skills in Morrowind) in order to level up.

De omnibus dubitandum.

When I started the game, I was tasked with joining a rebellion, but was to distracted picking tufts of grass. The game has a massive overworld and a lot of stuff to do. Enemies are really tough to take down. Take time to mix things up. You don't want to just charge on through, unless you want your balls rocked.

Probably the best game of 2011. You should buy it if you already haven't.

I'm planning on buying Skyrim: The elder scrolls V

Does anyone know what i can expect or have any video's for me without really spoilers. It's a lot of money so i want to know if i spend it on something worthy.

By far the best game of 2011 and I'm not just saying that because of them reviews but on first hand experience with the game. I think there's like over 300 quests which you can do, heck you can disregard the main one entirely as it has little consequences. You will get wrapped up by everything else going around you that it's hard to remember which quest you were currently doing. And the world is just expansive. Exploring on foot from one place to another is another story.. Real Nords don't use fast travel!

Oh the hours I've wasted into this game is just phenomenal
