I had the entire set as a child and I broke them like I broke everything else as a child, they probably got thrown away many years ago and now they are worth $4000.00

CELESTIA BUCKING DARNIT!!!!!

Are any of your old toys on this list anywhere?!

I also had the gameboy color...llol....a reading light so you can play in the dark! ahhh, those were the times!

I am so upset right now! I have 2k in credit right now and I could REALLY use that 4k to buy me sum new car tires and erase meh cards lol....and maybe a ps4.

I had the Gameboy and that Talkboy, also I think my sister had those roller skates.

Don't have any of them anymore. I miss the talkboy, old school recording device I could experiment with to make music but as far as the roller skates I have a proper good pair myself so don't want no Fisher Price ones and don't really miss the game boy

I have some of those (the list, not the one you posted.) and I sincerely doubt I could sell them or anywhere near that much.

I had a few of these, including my Gameboy Color I still have floating around. Though all these prices are majorly inflated, cause a quick Ebay search shows mint condition Gameboy Colors, with several games included, can fetch for maybe $50 tops.

Hi .  The original title of this thread was rather vague so I changed it to something that would do a better job of getting this thread's purpose out.

And on topic, I still have some Hess trucks from when I was a kid.  But they're so beat up now they're probably worthless on the collector's market.  :derp:  I also sold a bike for 40 bucks that might have been worth hundreds but I didn't have space for it at the time and I had to unload it in a hurry.

(This is the closest thing I have to a valuable toy)

My dad has a golden pocket watch that he's gonna give to me as his father gave to him, my grandpa did something for a train conductor when he was in his 30's and to thank him the train conductor gave him the watch. Later grandpa found out it was real gold, apparently the train conductor didn't know that. It's really old, and has gold in it so that's probably worth a bundle.

I had a bunch of DBZ figures that I played with when I was a kid that are most likely worth a pretty penny now days.

Sadly, they're all gone now. All gone.

But I do still have my Pikachu Gameboy Color that's in pretty good condition, along with Pokemon Yellow, Red and Silver. :P

Oooh yes! Sometimes I really wish I had taken better care of my toys, I played with them too much as a kid. I still have all my old vintage Lion King and Balto toys, some of which go for quite a lot on ebay these days. The big Balto and Jenna plushies in particular. My Jenna isn't in bad shape but Balto had his bottom jaw chewed off by one of my dogs years ago. Poor Balto. XD However to be perfectly honest I'm an emotional sap and a bit of a packrat so I'd never sell them anyway. But it's funny to see how much they're worth now!

I have those power rangers! ...Well I have Jason, Billy, and Tommy. (For you younger folks that's the Red, Blue, and Green/White ranger) And their not really in tip-top shape. I did play with my toys as a kid.

They're stocked away in a box in California at my parents garage. I must remind them to not get rid of it!

As for the others on the list I used to have:

Pokemon Cards

Lite Brite

Furby

Tamogatchi

Crossfire

Digimon

Gameboy Color

Not that all of them are worth a lot but I do have a huge number of pokémon cards, I've done some research and of course it has to be the ones I got that are very damaged that are worth a lot in mint condition. oh well.. I do got a First Edition Shining Raichu however which could be sold for like $35 bucks c:

Not me personally, but my brother, when Pokemon first came out, he was lucky enough to get a 1st gen Charizard. It was one of his favourite cards, rightfully so. And what did he do to his most favourite cards? Fold them in half.

Honestly, I have so much stuff, that if I went through it all, I could probably buy myself a brand new car (a nice one) with the money everything's worth.

Still have a copy of the N64 version of Super Mario 64. Funny. Too bad I see them at a local thrift store for like $40, and I have no intention of selling it because I haven't beaten it yet.

There's also the matter that I lost my best collector's tin of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards somewhere in my house, and it comprises of the ORIGINAL Yugi and Kaiba starter decks, both of which are roughly $100-200 now iirc (ranging from loose to sealed). I think that's the closest thing to 'broken' I have, at least setwise. It was missing a few cards that I traded away.

I'm also positive I have a few old-school Tamagotchis laying around somewhere in a buried box somewhere. I consider buried stuff lost for good, until proven otherwise. *shrug* My parents are too damn unpredictable when it comes to moving things around.

Final Additional Point: Completely forgot about the Heroes edition Latios and Latias Pokemon cards I left in my wallet that fused together in the washer. Blast it all. =_=

It is VERY likely.

You are looking at a guy who owned THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS of toys as a kid! Not because I was an obsessed collector, but because I was dumb enough to believe that the more toys I had, the more friends I would make. Buy toys do not compensate for shyness. Either way, like any kid, I took everything I owned out the boxes and played with them all as much as possible. Some things broke and had to be discarded, others were thrown away against my will. I can't recall every last toy I had, but it is extremely likely I broke or lost something that is now super rare or super valuable.

I had the auto-morph (head flipping) Power Ranger figures, I've owned a Sega Genesis twice, and every once in a while I'll think of something I owned that is super rare today.

JUST THE OTHER DAY, I recalled how I owned a Ronin Warrior figure. Never actually saw the show, didn't even know there was a show. I was just a kid, saw the line of toys in a store, said to myself "Well that looks really cool", grabbed the coolest looking one they had, and never even thought twice. Care to guess which figure I grabbed? Ryo's White Armor. You know, the final, super armor that Ryo gets near the end of the show. Yeah, I grabbed the ultimate badass without even knowing any better! And I might have owned a regular Red Armor Ryo too at one point, can't remember really. Sound right, but I could be wrong.

But you know what? I don't regret a single thing. I forget what animated cartoon or TV special said this, but toys aren't just meant to be collected for monetary value. They're made so that hopefully they'll be played with and you'll make great memories with them. If you aren't having fun with your toys, then you've missed the point.  :proud:

...Says the guy who hardly ever removes his Japanese import action figures from the boxes these days.  :derp:
