gaming what's the hardest boss fight you have completed?

Well, if we're talking fighting games... it would definitely be Parace L'Sia in Arcana Heart 3. All the teleporting cross-ups and instant overheads. She even had a move that would just fill her homing gauge and she would constantly drop rocks on your head, spawn tornadoes at your feet, surround you with exploding fireballs etc. Most annoying boss in a fighting game I've ever played.

If I think about RPGs, then I'd probably go with Pringer X Poison in Disgaea 4. The thing you need to know about Disgaea as a whole is that the real endgame bosses have tons of stats. By tons I mean millions worth of hp, atk, def, etc. So it's not exactly easy to just walk up and one shot them unless you did so much level grinding that your stats utterly dwarf the boss'. Anyway, what made this boss especially annoying was his sort of special ability: Special Skill Solved. It basically makes it so you have one shot with each special skill to actually deal damage to him. After the first time he is hit with that skill, the skill will no longer deal any damage to him. The special skills are your best source of damage, so if you run out of ones to hurt him with, you'll be stuck with standard attacks while he continues to pound you with his special skills...

I've fought many bosses over the years....though the bosses I keep fighting over and over again and are still difficult to beat would be the raid bosses in Destiny. In order to beat these bosses, you need a good team and communication, or try it again. It get infuriating after awhile sometimes.

"The end", the sniper battle in MGS3: snake eater, was one the hardest n most unforgettable moments in gaming for me EVER!! Also psyco mantis on MGS: the twin snakes on gamecube where u had to get up off the couch to switch the contoller ports to fight him n also he reads wat games youve played on ur memory card!! No game can top those moments...

Sephiroth, specifically from the first Kingdom Hearts. He might not be as hard now, but when I was a kid it was extremely difficult. It's still one of my proudest gaming moments.

I never suceeded to beat sephiroth, and the final boss was still hard for me to beat. I was a kid too, and I didn't pay that much attention to the bosses, I was only amazed how beautiful the game was for me, and I got really proud when I finally completed the game !

I'll give you two answers.

Most hardest as in most cheap: Shao Kahn, and I don't need to explain why. >_>

Most hardest as in most chellenging, yet fun: Grigori, the dragon from Dragon's Dogma.

Recently opened up an MLP RPG called Elements of Harmony. It's roughly based off of final fantasy, and it's not fun(at times); there are bosses who litterally only have one-hit kills as their movesets, both single use, and team cast. But it gets so much worse.

Took a simple walk though the Everfree Forest, where I had to flip switches to open up a gate to proceed. On the third switch, I hit a random boss encounter. Malboro. I set up my team's command list...

Only for him to use Bane. It hit everyone on my team with poison...

and confusion

And stun...

And sleep...

And negative status effects, including atk drop, magic drop, speed drop, etc.

Of course, confusion, stun and sleep mean you can't control your character, so I got to sit and watch while my team got ripped apart. The only one who actually dodged the crippling conditions was my healer... who got muted...

Four or five turns later, I game'd over, still staring at the screen like "...what?"

The Lost from The Last Remnant, I haven't been able to finish him. I agve up a long time ago.

FYI this is a sideboss. You MUST defeat him in 5 turns or he'll use Armageddon which will end the fight.

That's Malboro in general for you. It's been famous for inflicting several status at once. Sometimes it's the combination of Poison and Berserk and Silence (FFX).

I've played dark souls. Enough said.

Well, exception made for a few, you can kill most bosses there by just circling around them and stabbing them in the butt repeatedly.

Or stacking poise :v

Except for the moonlight butterfly thingy with it's undodgeable attacks... mainly the one where it flies above your head and fires that powerful shockwave that takes down half your health.

-The centaur looking guy from Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.

-Metal Gear Ray boss fight on European Extreme in Metal Gear Solid 2. Holy hell, that fight was ridiculously difficult.

Those two are the only ones that come to mind. B) I'm usually really awesome at video games. I normally go for the highest difficulty settings in games whenever I can. Dark Souls isn't on the list because if you have played old school games then it is a cake walk on all difficulties. Dark Souls couldn't challenge me!

Either Dark Gaia from Sonic Unleashed or Boss Blitz Galaxy's Throwback Throwdown Speed RunRun from Supe Mario Galaxy 2 (if that counts).

dark Gaia for me too glad to see another sonic fan

And I would have too say I have yet to beat shadow the hedgehogs final boss

Usually I can overcome any gaming challenge specially boss fights so it pretty rare if I can't beat a boss
