Hey there! I'm just wondering if my pony OC could make an appearance. If she can't, then that's fine. Here she is! Her name is Paint Brush.

 

 

Paint Brush has a talent for art, or more specifically, painting. Outside of that, she also loves travelling, reading, pranking and making bonds with other ponies. She can be a little obsessive and nagging, but she tries her hardest to make others happy.

I've got Astro Shine, this one (His actual name is Calm Spirit, alias "Dettho" and his cutie mark consist in one of those stereotypical psychiatrist couchs and a chair on it's side. If you need to know about his personality, he's a quiet but nice pony who works as psychiatrist. His special talent is his ability to understand other ponies issues and help them to get better, something that fits great with his job.) and even if it feels kinda weird since I'm already making a fanfic you can use Shadow Beam (Link in my signature).

 INTRODUCTION!

     

      Hi Every pony! Hey, uh so I was thinking... I know my first OC: Komoto Krawkis AKA The Dragon King AKA The Beach Master, was pretty good... For me, but I totally understand it may not belong here? While dragons are a thing in Equestria. I may (will) need something a little closer to Ponyville? So I submit for your approval. I present to you The Alternative OC Concept... Get ready every pony?

 

     I'll come with a whole NEW design myself and draw up something totally original... or at least (by my hand) it will "possibly" look like something no pony else would expect... That said. I'll draw up a backdrop and create a setting for him. I'll make him a little more useful to you. After that you may do however you wish... Within reason? While it is my OC and any work or works should be my responsibility. I've never been a part of any pony's fanfic... Even non pony fanfic. I am curious to see how other Bronies and Pegasisters see other ponies OCs... in fanfic.

 

      It's SUPERPONY! The Super Stallion Superhero (phew try saying that 5X fast?) Stopping ALL evil and doing good to protect and defend the ponies of Maretropolis. Fighting hoof and tail for Truth, Justice and The Equestrian Way. 

 

     I mentioned the setup... He'll have a backdrop and even have a secret ID. Like all Supers and gives a hero some semblence of a normal life (So I am really making 2 OCs ;D) and I should also mention just to avoid any copywrite infringing troubles or run risk of stealing anypony else's idea. He'll be "Colt Kent" and he works as a reporter for The "Daily Equestrian" newspaper, in the city of "Maretropolis". He is sent on assignment by Chief Editor "Marry White" (this version is a female) with his coworker and partner "Lois Mane" to Ponyville as part of a segment in the paper called "Ponyville Confidential", this setup places our hero into the very heart of Ponyville .

     

      Colt Kent again is accompanied by Lois Mane (she's always trying to out scoop Colt, like a game) They begin interviewing the citizens and get in touch with the average every day lives of the ponies... Much talk comes around to the occasional troubles that arise. They also touch on community and relations. Also, to know everything there is to know about a place is to have a talk with the town mayor. So they did have a talk with Ponyville's Mayor. They asked her mainly as to what exaclty and specifically are her roles as Town Mayor... Equestria is ruled by princesses 4: Princess Celestia of the day most beloved and revered by every pony, her sister Princess Luna of the night. She is good now but has a checkered past. Once her jealously and anger for Celestia getting all the love and attention had gotten the better of her and she became the villain known as "Nightmare Moon" because Celestia during a duel imprisoned her own sister in the moon for 1000 years.

     When she returned and  after her defeat by Twilight and the others of The Mane Six, she was returned to her former self. Still many ponies were afraid of her, even after the trouble had gone. Some ponies have claimed she visits you in your dreams in times of fear, trouble and even helps guide you on making a choice. Her role as Princess of the night. They were the main monarchy of Equestria: Celestia and Luna. 

      While some areas are governed by Equestria's other known princesses. Not Alicorn by birth but became so later on. There's Princess Cadence with her husband Shining Armor together as they protect The Crystal Empire with a magic force field and even now Ponyville itself is watched over by the newly ordained princess Twilight Sparkle who stays at the castle beyond the Everfree Forest and so on...

     So what does the Mayor of Ponyville do? Mayor Mare replied that her duties involved taking charge of the town's ceremonies, opening festivals and there is a lot of festivals. Other mayoral duties involve assigning position and roles for each pony to take part of, in the case of "Winter Wrap Up". Each pony is given a task specified for them to help in each team/group order and she announces and reports of the heroic feats and actions of The Mane Six in assemblies awarding them medals or trophies for their victorious efforts. Colt Kent and Lois Mane were very much interested to know more... Then Mayor Mare directed the Maretropolis reporters to the residences of The Mane Six. Then saying farewell to Mayor Mare and thanking her for her time they headed off.

 

The Mane Six....

     

       Even in Metropolis they have gotten word about these six ponies who are no ordinary mares... There's not a pony in all of Equestria who doesn't know about The Mane Six and their adventures... and is just the thing that Superpony could get his hooves involved with. However, in many reports. They claim that the troubles of any kind does not come up as often as the occasional monster stumbling into Ponyville or when an ancient enemy rears his or her head or when all of Equestria is threatened with chaos, disarray and Discord who claim now is also reformed like Luna once was. Other minor troubles involved a thick cloud of black smoke that would fill the air and skies of the land and the source... A sleeping dragon in a nearby mountain cave.

       Although reports are happy that the trouble is usually handled by The Mane Six led by Princess Twilight Sparkle" who oversees Ponyville in shining castle just outside Ponyville and beyond The Everfree Forest. The worst possible thing might have been the time an old villain escaped his prison and wreaked havoc on ever pony of Equestria. This foe's name was Tirek and he stole magic the very essence of Equestrians ponies, pegasi and unicorns even daring to take the Princesses' magics but unbeknownst to him their's was foreseen and bestowed upon the young Twilight Sparkle and she single hoofed along with her friends but then they were KO'd forcing Twilight to then defeat him single hoofed and she defeated the great monster Lord Tirak... Life in Equestria was again back to it's normal peaceful self.

     

     The Maretropolis reporters, pleased and satisfied by every ponies responses had all the info they needed and returned to Maretropolis. Although both Colt Kent and Lois Mane gave different accounts on the ponies lives and events in Ponyville her's a little more... They were still both fantastic reads. Meanwhile, Colt Kent couldn't help but think that someday Equestria would need Superpony to aide the heroic Mane Six and save Ponyville and Equestria... But for now Maretropolis needed him.

I realize there's no pictures yet. I haven't made them yet I had this idea and just had to get it out if you enjoyed this I shall include pictures mainly for descriptive reasons you need to have and idea of what Superpony would look like making one for Colt Kent and Lois Mane as well as something for Marry White too... but that will take some time unless some other pony wanted to include anything like their ideas. I mean I am kind of putting it out there. However they won't be like these avatars no mine will be my own design and colors and stuff and will get em to you soon. Thanks

Better not focus so much on what's show based and what's original concept. The idea that they're on assignment in Ponyville on an assignment in Ponyville on a segment of the Daily Equestrian. So if anyone say wanted something a little closer to home. This setup puts our hero right into the heart of Ponyville.

I fear I may not have an original bone in my body??? I just wanted to be a part of something. Even if it's been done. My first oc really wasn't on topic in fact the author liked the idea but couldn't use him because he wasn't tied to Ponyville in general. Alas I went to work and created an idea I'd need something Equine something that could be a part of Ponyville. I had taken my user name and felt that what everyone else is doing and.... SUPERPONY was born the idea is overdone but with my hand it could seem original because it was my doing. My designs and style that's original. Cook up a recipe and switch out some things to MLP standards and I got an idea. To Avoid copywrite trouble Clark Kent is Colt Kent and Lois Lane is Lois Mane really just gonna focus on these 3 ponies. I already said too much. And should only offer what I can do not all this to do with so little time.

Except Maretropolis is a fictional alternate reality inside a comic book and doesn't exist in Equestria. Have you watched the episode at all before making your fanfic?

SuperBrony... I had to try something I couldn't just make myself a pony I ain't interesting enough. but I've established my thing as SuperBrony and that's like all I had to go on. And it isn't for my benefit I wanted to make it useful. But according to someponies this isn't a good idea. No I didn't watch the episode before I thought of this idea the Power Ponies wasn't on my mind.... I dreamt it. I thought of a pony OC that could probably be used in a fanfic. I've never been any fanfic MLP or otherwise I and curious to see how other ponies see other ponies OCs and puts them to use.

I figure I should give you all an update on this story, just so you know it is in fact still happening. 

 

I was not able to meet the deadline for the Hearts and Hooves Day contest because, well, life got in the way, as it often does. I will still complete this story and publish it to fimfiction with a number of your OCs playing small parts in it, it's just arriving later than anticipated.

Eloquence will actually not be appearing in this story, or if she does it will be a very tiny cameo. She will not be the object of anypony's affections this time around
