Depends on how responsive they are. Things like most modern phones and even the DS were tolerable. A lot of older phones were not. I owned one with a very bad touch screen and it caused me more frustration than I would like to admit. :p

Older less accurate touch screens did but modern ones are pretty decent now, I still prefer non-touch screen control if it's an option though.
