music What's the most obscure music you listen to?

I can't say I listen to much truthfully 'obscure' music. Probably the only one would be Egg:

(I've actually posted this a couple of times on these forums. =P)

Once I'm done listening to jazz, rock, metal, blues, pop, disney music, mlp music, and various forms of electronic music... I go to this:

...

Bassoons are the best!

Hey, that's my instrument! =P

Not my favorite concerto, though, to be honest. This one is:

Mike Patton's solo work can be very out there. He has a whole album's worth of the ramblings you hear below.

Here are some more obscure bands I like: Fugazi, Hüsker Dü, Sonic Youth, Pixies, Mudhoney, The Stone Roses, Temple of the Dog and no I'm not a hipster.

Anything like this typically gets on my good side, but I would never ever show anyone a video/song like this. At least, no one in real life.

It's pretty hard for me to tell what is obscure, so I suppose I should be careful labelling my music obscure. I've never met very many people that like these acts, though: Tom Waits, ThouShaltNot, Evelyn Evelyn, Dr. Steel, Saints of Ruin, Ghoultown, Rufus Rex, birdeatsbaby, Ghostfire and Skinny Puppy.

...but seriously :P I really like TF2 remixes and stuff. Me and Kaze listen to them on our phones practically all the time xD and the Gaben ones can be quite funny too lol

There's this band called Gloryhammer. made by one of Alestorm's members.

Anyways, there was this song, it was called "The Unicorn Invasion of Dundee."

There was ONE video for that song, and it had only ever reached about 1,500 views.

And it seems whoever uploaded it deleted it. So now it's not even on youtube.

Luckily, I had downloaded it long before it was deleted, so I'm adding it as an attachment.

It's just a jump, to the left!

And of course this one:

I am particularly fond of the last one. The first one reminds me of L4D2 because of the "Survive This!" animation.

"Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven." Luke 6:37

"In the beginning, God created the heavens, the Earth, and Octavia, who is best pony." Genesis 1:1

I dig the high octane Nightmare Fuel that is Aphex Twin. Their visual style is pretty consistent through most of their videos, and the lo-fi sound is pretty gnarly.

I wouldn't call it "graphic content" but it's creepy as hell.

Get your goff boots on, sway, stomp and brood. Alien Sex Fiend's, Oops, Wrong Planet! It's probably a good idea, or a horrible one to listen to this band while your mind is altered. Edited by CharlieManson

Well it isn't obscure or anything but I think it has a weird rythm, even if it comes from Gorillaz it is quite weird but everytime I hear it, I HAVE to watch the video, because come on! an old ship aproaching earth from space is freakin' awsome!

There's this great indie band from the town I've grown up in. I know the drummer and lead singer really well. Good kids.

This is the only full song they have on youtube. Not their best, but still.

I'm pretty cool. I think.

Also, new OC (it has a cutie mark this time!).

Is not that I listen to obscure music, it's more along the lines of having obscure tastes. I listen to Classic Rock, the occasional jpop, and some techno. I also enjoy instrumentals. Though, if it is required that I post an unusual song, there is a particular Christmas song I like. It's The 12 Days of Christmas by Straight no Chaser. You might be thinking "ugh, I've heard this song SOOOO many times already. How can it be fun to listen to even outside the holidays?" if you are thinking similar thoughts, try it anyway. (trust me, it gets better after the second day.)

Probably any screamo music or some rappers out there that talk all about the same exact thing all the time. I think you guys know what I am talking about.
