Oh yes, the cable, good old times :3

The cable. Yes. It would sometimes look really awkward if you were just using the cable and some people had no idea what you guys were doing.

I've played every generation (and remake) that has ever came out with pokemon. These games were my childhood, along with snap and pinball and everything else.

When I was younger and didn't really understand pokemon getting the rarer ones was like such a highlight, now they shove every pokemon down your throat there is no challenge, I'm here for nostalgia.

how exactly are they shoving every Pokemon down your throat without the challenge?

The best part was when the cable lost it's sync, so one of us was a move behind the other

But of course! As a kid who grew up in the 90's, I was there for when the Pokemon craze exploded! B)

I don't quite remember what was on that 18 in 1 cartridge, I think it was Pokemon Pinball? I also did have Blue and Gold versions at one point, but they've since been lost to me. :(

I remember playing Pokemon Red, Yellow and some of the Nintendo 64 games like the Stadium games and Snap. I liked them a lot and it was because it was very different from other games that were out at that time. I liked Yellow because it felt like I was a part of the anime back when I watched it. Snap was fun because it was cool being able to take pictures of Pokemon and going to the game store to print out the pictures you took. Stadium was fun and addicting being able to play most of the Pokemon that were out from the first two generations in 3D. It was also fun being able to take on different modes and playing the mini games they had available.

Yup! I have played and beaten all of the 90s games, though I did not get to play them until the early 2000s. Pokemon Blue was the first one I played and that was glorious. My favorites of the bunch have to be Pokemon Yellow and Crystal. Crystal (Along with Gold and Silver) introduced so many awesome new features to the series and it always have been one of my favorites. :) G1 is my favorite in terms of the Pokemon though, I have always had some bias to them but I strongly prefer the atmosphere of Crystal.

Well yeah, Blue was my first Pokémon game... I played Yellow as well.

They were great for their time, but for me Pokémon gets better every generation, so they feel quite dated to me now.

Have you played the latest installment? The practically give you every legendary by going in holes at certain times! Idk, for me I don't find it much a challenge anymore to catch anything.

I've played all the pokemon games except for pokemon yellow, silver and gold. I did play the remakes, Heart Gold and Soul Silver, and played the original Crystal so..
Even though my first pokemon game was Diamond, I had been a fan of pokemon a lot longer than that.

I recall playing either Red or Yellow as well as the Stadium game more than half a decade ago. Otherwise, I don't really play any Pokemon in general.
