I think 30 Seconds to Mars counts as Progressive, I don't usually pay attention to the genre too much so I'm not alwas sure.

Oh I love prog'! The amount of talent needed to play most of this stuff is insane.

Here's a good prog band from Toronto. I live really close to them but have yet to see them live. They're still looking for a vocalist. But apparently they put on a hell of a show anyways.This is the guitarist, Aaron Marshall's play through.

I also love Protest the Hero. They've been one of my fav's for a long time.

WAAAAAT? People hate that album? WHY? It's so cool!

Actually I haven't listened to THAT much of it, but I really liked Webs. It's a shame they broke up. That other band, Just Like Vinyl, that has the singer of The Fall of Troy in it, it's just not doing anything for me. The Fall of Troy is just SUCH a better band, in my opinion.

Yeah, people tend to hate it because the production isn't as clean as before and Tom sounds really off-key-that, and it's noticeably more melodic then previous works. To be honest, I didn't like it at first either-but it grows on you.
