My future wife or my future husband

Being a musician! Most preferably a brass/woodwind player like me! But I might be able to tolerate a low (orchestral) string player. Lol.

I'm terrible, I know. Nothing's going to happen anyway.

Ha! Don't kid yourself. We are the life of the ensemble.

Um... No, I'll have you know that's the low woodwinds and low brass. ;)

Future Wife needs to know how to joke around a lot, if I can't get in a water gun fight with them at 3 a.m. then really what's the point  :icwudt:

At this point I'm just hoping she exists. That would be a good start ^_^

But if I have to be more specific, someone who is funny, kind and who wants to share a lifetime of new experiences together.

Friendship isn't always easy. But it's definitely worth fighting for.

My wife must like ponies and also be a part of the reptilian brotherhood xD

Just kidding...I don't really plan on getting a wife or a girlfriend since...personally....I just feel as if I don't have enough spare time for one. Also, I can't really be bothered trying to find one since it's pretty much impossible nowadays, there's no more "good girls" anymore, just emo teens and girls that wanna be badasses and have a hunky bulk boyfriend who will just end up dumping them after about a month :/

Can someone please tell me that my opinion is wrong  :(  :(  :(

We aren't all bad! I know plenty of girls who are normal and want a REAL relationship. Just gotta wait for them to come to you, my friend!

But hm, expectations.. I have a boyfriend who I love very much and I do not want to put expectations on him! So pretending I do no have one, hmm..

Somebody who likes animals for sure, other common interests like video games and stuff, um.. Somebody who knows what to say at the right times. Somebody who can be serious when needed but silly at the appropriate times. Somebody who is faithful and honest!

That's about it I think.. as long as there is a strong connection nothing has to be exact. Nobody is perfect you know!

My equal on an emotional, spiritual, and intellectual level. Someone who has my back, but can call me out when I'm wrong. Shared interests are obviously a must, but I couldn't care less about the things we like, as long as we understand each other's reasons for liking them.

She'll be someone who makes me laugh, who holds me when I cry, who makes me think, and who loves God more than she loves me.

My expectations of them? Well, I don't tend to think of it in that way that much. I mean, of course I'd have expectations, like loyalty: in my opinion cheating on your partner in any way is one of the worst things someone can do. But most of all I would want the person to be themselves. And whether or not who I truly am and who that person truly is would fit together in that kind of relationship is something I would figure out completely before marrying that person. So by the time I'd marry the person there'd be no doubt in my mind that I could trust them completely and that we fit together excellently both as lovers and as friends. So after marriage it would be a state of joyful mutual love and fulfillment with complete and mutual trust, already fully knowing and understanding each others wants, needs, and expectations without having to worry about whether the other will fulfill them. Because I would want to reach that state with that person before ever even asking them to marry me.

Also, I'd love to get married someday, but not for the sake of it. Marriage is something I want to do extremely well or not at all. Right now is the first and only time in my life in which I'm in love with someone from a mature standpoint in which I actually know what I'm looking for in that regard. And I could honestly see myself marrying her some day way off in the future, if she wanted to of course. I don't say such things lightly and the person in question is truly one in a billion. More like one in however many adults there are on this planet these days. I've had feelings for other people in the past but this is nothing like anything I've ever felt before and I don't think I'll ever feel this way about anyone else.

So marriage is something I'd either want to do if it worked out with the right person or not at all. Marrying the wrong person is worse than never getting married, in my opinion.

I'd expect intelligence, someone to have good conversation with, and someone I'd like to have as a friend. I mean, good looking would be sort of a bonus, but I prefer personality and intelligence over anything else.

Can you tell I've never had a girlfriend?

I'm still finding out what I do and don't like in people, and am not ready to think about marriage as it applies to my own life. But other than the obvious good traits, such as respect, loyalty, and a loving heart, my future husband must have a sense of humor. I need to be with someone I can share a good laugh with. I'd also prefer that he loves animals, too. He also must be intelligent and hard working, honest, and supportive of me and my passions, just as I would do the same for him.
