[spoiler] will Shining Armor and Cadence return?

I would like to see Shining Armor and Cadence return for an episode or two. There are a lot of possibilities. An episode wherein they have a major fight and Twilight tries to get them to make up. Or an episode where Cadence gets pregnant (well, we won't actually see her get pregnant). They already explored childbirth, so why not go through the full pregnancy cycle? Well, they would omit the sex part, but you get the idea.

Of course! I mean why wouldnt they make a well deserved return. I mean look at Luna! She got a whole episode and....well....yea...she got a whole episode! Minus a few seconds of cameos on the season 2 final. But aside from that, I'm sure they'll return in some kind of way. Be it a full episode or just some brief apperances (LUNA).

 

Which also makes you want to think, will the Changelings return too? I mean they were never actually DESTROYED or locked up or anything

Cadence and Shining Armour will most certainly return but I'm guessing it will be more of a Luna-esc return, perhaps having a future episode dedicated to them and then they are only seen in big events. I don't believe they will bring them back by creating an episode based around love issues considering they saved Equestria using the power of love. It would seem sort of redundant if the wielders of love became loveless. I don't believe they'll do the whole "pregnant" episode due to the fact that it would spark some...interesting questions from younger viewers. They may have an episode where Cadence and Shining Armour already have a child but I don't believe they'll have one where Cadence is a pony bowling ball.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if we saw them in the opening of season 3, either in the opening title theme due to the changes that the creators will probably make to it or we will seem them just naturally in the first two episodes considering some mega stuff happens in the beginning. I would love to see Cadence/Shining Armour again but I still feel robbed of Luna.

I really hope so. I mean at this point Cadence is easily the best of the three princesses, and in my personal opinion the best pony in the series. Not to mention that Cadence is pretty much admired by Twilight. I don't think that they would have made such a focus around the relationship between Twilight and Cadence if they weren't planning something more for her in the future. I would actually be very surprised if we didn't get multiple episodes with them in it. Hasbro did a lot of work promoting this wedding, and then they did a lot of work in the show itself adding to her personality and relationships. A pony that shares that strong of an emotional tie to one of the primary character is going to be a frequent re-occurrence. I think it would be a lot like Celestia was in the first season. She will make multiple appearances, for multiple different reasons or maybe even invites the mane 6 for a Canterlot visit.

I really hope so! Who knows, since we made a lot of noise about wanting Discord back, and John de Lancie has confirmed that he's done another episode with My Little Pony, maybe if we do the same they'll come back at some point as well.

They might make an appearance just like Luna's in the season 2 finale.A few lines and little screen time but still not a cameo and an actual appearance.Maybe in a future episode when the Mane 6 are in Canterlot they might bump into Shining Armor on his way to gaurd duty or something like that.

I would like to see Cadence. Shining Armor I could live without seeing again. Don't get me wrong I don't dislike him, but he just seemed like a dull character.

I think they'll make som minor appearances, but i also think they'll be featured in one of the last episodes, where they'll have to use both the Elements of Harmony and Cadence's/SA's love in conjunction to defeat the new villain.

They should make another appearance. It just would not make sense to have them as major protagonists in an episode, only to never show them again. Plus, I think Hasbro will complain if they don't, seeing that they're the ones that pushed the creators of the show to include the couple.
