What kind of white noise/relaxing noise do you like?

I like to hear the sound of an air conditioner, particularly while I sleep.

The sound of thunder and rain hitting the windows, it's jsut calming. More so the rain...the thunder is just a bonus.

 

I also enjoy the sound the tires on my bike make on pavement/asphalt/tarmac  as I ride it. Similar, but more pronounced, sound I enjoyed in my old Boss' H1 Humvee, the massive off road tires just made such a satisfying sound as we rode down the highway at speed.

I love the sound of rain but not heavy heavy rain. Also, rain on a tin roof is just annoying. I love the sound of rain tapping on a window. There is actually an app I used to have that had different rain noises. I am thinking about having it again actually to help me sleep away from home at the dorm. On the app, it has rain in all sorts of forms. Rain tapping a window (my fav), a rain storm, ocean waves, etc. A fan is a good thing as well to sleep to.

I like the sound of thunder storms. The more violent the better (as long as they don't knock out the electricity or cause damage). Wind, rain and thunder make a beautiful combination of natural music.

For some reason, I never found anything like that relaxing. I prefer when it's completely quiet (or as close to it as it can be), or maybe some music playing in the background (pretty much anything that I like).

I like listening to my boyfriend’s heartbeat when I’m laying on his chest.  I know that’s corny but it really is relaxing and makes me feel safe, not just listening to his heartbeat but being that close to him in general. It has put me to sleep before. 

 

Also, the sound of gently falling rain is always nice. And the sound of the ocean. I’ve fallen asleep on the beach before just listening to it.
