music Favorite rapper?

Rainbow Dash is my favorite rapper.

Actually, the things that Babe usually raps about would warrant one of those "Parental Advisory" stickers. x3

@, Yup.

Rap is probably my favorite genre of music (if not rock). I'd probably say Eminem because he's the one that got me into rap. My favorite album of his being the Marshall Mathers LP and my favorite Eminem song would probably be Way I Am. Other rappers I listen to and like are 2Pac, Dr Dre, Ice Cube, Jay Z (mostly his stuff from 1996-2003), N.W.A., Nas (Illmatic, enough said), Outkast, Public Enemy, Run-D.M.C., Snoop Dogg, and the Wu-Tang Clan. Currently I'm listening to Big L's Lifestylez Ov Da Poor & Dangerous and I'm liking it. Of all the rappers I need to listen to, my number 1 priority is to listen to a Notorious B.I.G. album after I'm done listening to Big L. Other rappers I still need to listen to are the Beastie Boys, Big Pun, Eric B. & Rakim, LL Cool J, Mobb Deep, Redman, and A Tribe Called Quest.

Sick dude! Big L and Nas is my favorite (8 Iz Enuff and Size Em Up).

I thought I was the only member here who even knew of Big L. (glad i was wrong)

But yeah. Eminem got me into rap too. He was the first rapper I ever liked, and the first song I heard from him was Marshall Mathers. That song was so sick, when he was calling out a bunch of people like ICP, his mother, and Vanilla Ice.

I actually didn't like rap at one point, but a few years ago my friend sent me a song called Regulate from Nate Dogg and Warren G(west coast rappers), and that's when I discovered 90's rap. since then I've been hooked and discovered a lot of old school hip-hop myself. I think the best part is the drama, and beefs.

Most rap beefs were forgotten. Like the Eminem(with D12) and Limp Bizkit beef. Eazy-E and Death Row beef. Jay Z and Nas, The Game and G-unit etc.

I doubt anyone cares either, but here's my remake of Stan's beat(originally from Mark 45 King):

(MAY SOUND HORRIBLE IF USING CHEAP HEADPHONES, OR HEADPHONES THAT CRUNCH WITH BASS.)

Since Tupac is being mentioned here by few people, I figured I'd post here that today is the 20th anniversary of All Eyez on Me.

The album some argue was his magnum opus (others say Me Against the World), it was his first album released under Death Row Records, and was the first hip hop double album released by a solo artist. Unfortunately, it was also the last Tupac album released before he died 7 months later. R.I.P. Tupac Shakur June 16, 1971-September 13, 1996.
