general How do you sleep?

I sometimes lay on either my right or left side and curl up around something... and sometimes I'm just spread out everywhere. xD

I always need blankets because I'm slightly afraid of the dark. I know, what 16 year old is afraid of the dark? Well, I have terrible anxiety so I'm always hiding under the covers. Don't know why. It might be the neighborhood I live in. :/

Normally with like five pillows, a bunch of plushies, on my side, on my couch in my room, normally with a cat on me, and some kind of noise around me.

Sometimes I simply just fall asleep like on a desk, the bus,... anywhere.

I usually sleep on my bed with several pillows (like 4 or more). Sometimes my cat sleeps on my bed, too. My normal sleeping position is on my side, but somewhat face-down so that I'm at an angle between my side and stomach. My arms are always either draped over a pillow, or curled up around one so that my hands are underneath my chin. I pretty much have to have a pillow or something next to me to hug or else I won't sleep at all. If I'm not in good mental health for even just a day, my sleep quality is one of the first things to suffer. I sleep an average of 9 hours every night, but I often have trouble getting to sleep some nights, because I'm extremely caffeine sensitive.

I usually sleep while wearing nothing, and sometimes....when I dream about a land where everything is edible....my pillow is usually missing after I have woken up....

On my left side curled in a ball on the floor

I hope that was a joke, because it made me laugh. xD

I go to sleep, most nights, underneath the covers (as many as I can reasonably pile on) with Babe already asleep on my chest.

Usually I start out on my side and end up laying on my stomach.

I cover up with the blanket, but I almost always end up uncovering my legs.. otherwise I'll get too warm.

My sleep schedule isn't so great right now... my parents want me to wake up at 8am every day like they do, but I work nights and I'm a night owl, so no matter how hard I try, I can't adjust to it. Then I sleep during the day and my mom finds me, wakes me up, and makes me do chores instead. >.>

Randomly, 30 minutes-3 hours to fall asleep depending on my stress level. Usually on my stomach or side depending on what is most comfortable. As for the amount I sleep per night it is usually 6-9 hours of sleep(Trying to bump this up to 8+ default, but self control in that area has to be improved first). Usually wake up about 3 times a night, twice to use the restroom(The other for my dreams or noises as I do live in a dorm with inconsiderate people).

Nope it's not a joke. I really do sleep on the floor curled in a ball

What are the benefits to such a practice?

benefits? Well, I always used to fall off my bed and hit my head on my bedside table...so I guess not waking up to a pounding headache.

Not waking up with a headache is also my preferred method of starting the day.  You should try sleeping on a couch; it's nightly training in not-rolling.  And, if you did roll off, you could just curl up where you landed on the floor.

I would still probably end up on the floor. So I save myself the trubble and start there

Pillows and tight blankets. Seriously if you tuck a blanket in enough it will solve the rolling around problem. I have a tiny bed in my dorm so I had to adapt with barriers and a blanket tucked in every part of the bed. I had to nearly glue myself to my bed as I used to sleep in a queen.

that might work, but I am so used to the floor that my bed doesn't feel comfortable anymore
