When Kronos gets really REALLY bored, his ears tend to pick up lots of strange things, so he's always unintentionally eavesdropping on everyone. Mind you, it's UNINTENTIONAL, he just happens to hear it when he's not doing anything, kind of like how I am in real life.

Well, he was able to hear the one that was going into some room from where he was, theoretically speaking. He has a pretty good sense of hearing when he's not doing anything. He's just assuming that it's a weapons room, as is with all of his assumptions with places he's typically not allowed to be in.

@, It's a rather understandable assumption, but it does make me question his hearing abilities. Two Floors underground, thick steel doors and floor, along with the distance not being entirely vertical. Its a rather large total displacement and with all the materiel that should be blocking his hearing. A stretch, even for cybernetic ears.

 

How strong actually is his hearing?

It varies on what he's currently doing, kind of like me. If he's busy talking to someone, all of his hearing is focused on whoever he's talking to. If he's paying attention to a certain thing, he'll focus all attention to it until someone or something demands attention from him. If he's not focused on any particular thing, his mind drifts off and he starts hearing everything that doesn't seem important and inadvertently eavesdrops on other conversations and listens to that. Also, take in the fact that it's an underground bunker, so we can assume it's the rebounding of sound of the enclosed area. I'm also assuming that there's not a lot of doors that separate where Kronos and Lupus are currently at considering it's the main room, so i'm under the assumption that there arent really any doors there and there's corridors everywhere for the sound to eventually hit his ear.

@, Yes, but the scientific mind I have questions the legitimacy of this. Considering the total displacement between the characters and the density and quantity of the materials between the two, it just makes me concerned since if he can hear through material like this and a distance like this and make out enough of a vocal tone and enough legitimate words in order to make an assumption like the one he did, it really begs the question to what the limit to his abilities are. Considering that dense reinforced steel, two floor of which, doesn't seem to impact his hearing in a logical manner, don't tell me because Cybernetics. Sound still travels the same no matter what, in waves. An ear like that would just increase the spectrum of sounds you can hear in decibel terms. Plus added to that you're the closest to the storm Ethan mentioned. While it will be muffled by the distance, not much material is blocking the waves, meaning it still should be audiable from your location. Call me concerned, but I don't really like the idea of someone being able to ear a pin drop about 50 meters away. That was a metaphor

I'm fairly uncomfortable with the time travel concept, it just gives me a bad vibe. I also don't particularly like how she can't die, which essentially pardons the character from consequences for actions that most wouldn't, couldn't, and shouldn't do. (opinion based on posts seen)

@@Ranger22, I can see where your concerns come from as with the evidence you have. But the full story about Scarlett is more detailed. Trust me when I say that if the character was OP, it would not be in the RP in the first place. I understand your concerns, but I will have to ask you to put your faith in what I say. The way Scarlett is written and some factors about her (that I will let @@Ethan Sawyer, Explain if he so wishes,) makes her balanced and fair to a degree in which it is acceptable.
 

That and the I have trust in Ethan, having been in RP's with him before and seeing how he does things. He won't break the RP. Trust me.

Explosive is a legendary mod. No one can craft them. I don't want them existing here because they are unbalanced and OP. I don't think Dragons breath is a thing in FO4

 

 

 

I know a lot about weapon modifications. Be it scopes or stocks or recievers, if I have the components, I can make the parts.

 

 

If you don't have the perks, no you don't. And as far as I know, you haven't even given us a list of perks.

Wait, I had to give the PERKS as well? I wasn't told about that. I understand the ammo mods being how they are, those were just suggestions that Kronos made based on his military experience, not trying to imply it was possible.

Ah, okay. I'm not sure if you stated this earlier, but I just assumed that it'd be alright. Heh... darn.

 

Honestly though, I don't think a gatling laser would be too OP. For one, it really, REALLY gives away the position of the user, takes a lot of fusion cores to use, and isn't really good for longer ranges. Plus, being a very heavy weapon, it'd be hard to carry, especially up a mountain. Just sayin'.

 

Now, if it was a laser sniper rifle or something like that, I could understand your concern.
