I think Spike would be more sensitive about the time he nearly destroyed Ponyville... I like the idea that they have something in common as reformed villains, even if for Spike it was only one day of being bad. 1 Are you a Spike fan? To be fair, not everyone who ships spike with adults ship him when he's young. I'd welcome more eps about Starlight, though. I did like the chemistry between Spike and Starlight in the premiere at first, but Spike became too focused on Twilight's list after a bit which once again forced me to conclude he shouldn't be in the spotlight much. They rather can have interactions in other episodes and maybe a comic. But there is so many of other characters I would rather both have episodes with.
