if you could change the world with your talent, what would you do?

So I've reached the point in my life in which I have to choose what im going to do for the rest of my life and I want to do something related to writing poetry and stories or at least something that has to do with creativity... and thinking back to what someone once told me, I realized that a lot of people never use their talents to change the world for the better, they mostly hide it or use it for other things. Everybody has a talent, so if you could get the chance to use your talent to change(save) the world, what would you do? and how?

Well personally I believe my talent may be tinkering with stuff, like fixing whatever, making whatever, crafting coming up with something. That or watching anime. So I'm not sure what I'd do, maybe make something that will uphold liberty and freedom something like the U.S. constitution. Or maybe give everyone anime recommendations. I would want a constitution like the U.S. has over here, so in many places it would help a lot to have it. Liberty and freedom is something we must never take for granted as it can so easily be stripped away and has happened. So yeah something like that, could carve it into stone or something that will last for a while.

Music has been such an important part of my life, and my dream is that my music can be important to someone else. That I can impact someone in the same way other musicians have impacted me. Music brings people together and I want to contribute to that.

I don't quite know how I'd go about "changing the world" with what could arguably be considered my "talent."  I draw and write, and I understand how art or literature can have a meaningful impact on any number of people.  But I'm better off focusing on just a few individuals who have supported me in what I do.  I'd rather positively affect the lives of just a few individuals I care about (in even in a small way) than change the world.

Mine is mostly computer programming, coding and math. You know, software development. If i trapped everyone in the matrix, i might have done something meaningful. The power of software is only as great as the hardware running it.

As a student of Psychology, changing the world isn't so much as an option to me.

It's more about changing 'someone else's world' and thats what truly matters.

 

One happy person will go on to inspire another, and so forth. You see, it's the little things that make up the bigger picture.

I would write stories that inspire the consciousness of the masses. I would tell stories that don't merely entertain but would stimulate the reader's intellect -- stories that makes the reader question life and their greater purpose in it for the better. That's how I would change the world. I'm not saying that I could "change the world," but I am not saying that I can't.

With my extraordinary talent of having no talents whatsoever, I would change the world by giving everyone who has self-esteem issues feel better about themselves. At least they aren't me.

To be honest I don't really consider myself as someone that has a talent whatsoever, even though I really love making music and songwriting and all I just don't think it's right for me to say that it's my talent, because I don't think I have well the right to say that. But yeah that's just me and my lack of confidence I guess.

 

If I could change the world or contribute in someway to make the world a better place I'd just stick to what I do, write songs which talks about a lot of issues I've encountered, try to make people feel like they're not alone when dealing with these type of problems and that it only can get better. 

 

But yeah that's that. Sounds really shallow and cliché but I'd really love to help causes troughout my music.
