Fudge and Sundae both did a double-take when they heard the angry growling of a hungry stomach nearby.

 

"What was that?" Sundae asked.

 

"Wasn't me, sis," Fudge answered.

Fudge and Sundae both marveled at the dapper dragon stepping into class. "Cool!" Fudge exclaimed as the Sappy Lappy introduced himself as the new history teacher. Then, when Sappy threatened to eat ponies who misbehaved, Fudge let out a yelp and squeezed his way underneath the desk. A red-faced Fudge wiggled back onto his desk, embarrassed at the brief thought that Sappy liked his prey on the heavy side.

 

Sundae on the other hand never batted and eyelash and waved to Sappy. "Hi, Mr. Lappy!" she greeted him. "Sorry about my brother. He scares easily."

stringshots eyes went wide at amazement seeing the older dragon two dragons at his school, one a fekkow student the other a history teacher. "oh mr lappy can we learn  about dragon stuff too" he said raising his hoof but before any more questions could be answerd the lunch bell went off.

 

"its a beautiful day out side lets eat outside everypony" cheerliee said

 

as the students rushed, flew, and some full on galloped out the door cheerlie was able to move the new teacher out of the way from the herd of phillys colts and more.

**sunset dashed outside and went under the tree and brought out a book on magic*

"So lets see what can do I c ah I like turning chairs into a pebble " sunset whispers to himself

*Scrolls through the pages and read what to do but sadly he forgot the key to his notebook for the spell arts academy*

Once she was outside Misty looked around and sighed, tables were filled faster than she could get to them and it didn't help that her legs couldn't handle running either. "Hey!" She look over to a pony who was waving his hoof at her. "You can sit over here if you want." He said gesturing his hoof towards himself. "Name's Francis." He said while moving his food tray over. "What's your name?" He put his hoof forward. knocking over her drink. "Sorry." unfortunately the drink didn't just spill all over the tray, but the table instead.

 

@@cwhip9, Misty backed away from the table quickly worrying it may stain her white and black fur. "Cheerilee?" Misty said raising her hoof to get Cheerilee's attention. "We need a towel over here." She said pointing to the spilt drink.

 

Francis brought his hoof back, hiding his face slightly. "Shot, and on my first day to."

"Sorry... that's my tummy... I'm kinda hungry" Walleria said to Fudge and Sundae with blush on her face just as the Bell rung and Everyone rushed out for lunch break! She too did the same just as she gave Mr Lappy a interested look before exiting.

 

Once outside she made a quick leap into the air and dashed towards the south west of Ponyville where Banner's house was! Once there she found the small bag that was now placed outside at the entrance as the door inside was locked. Picking up the bag and trowing it over her shoulder as Chain had showd her the day before. she dashed of towards the school again!

 

When she returned to the school yard she saw that most ponys had started their lunches and she didn't find any good place to eat, taken that mostly all places at the table was taken.

After some quick decisions she decided to fly up in one of the trees and eat her lunch there! Some light russling in the leafs she found a good enough branch to sitt on as she  opened up the lunchbox that was inside her bag! Inside it was a heavenly smelling Pineapple pie! Leftover from last night but still smelld lovly to her! She used her flame breath to heat it up before starting to happily munch away on it! Letting a few crumbles fall down to the ground, being oblivious to the crumbles falling down into Sunset Light's book!

Scar waited everyone to get out and was one of the last to leave the class, he calmly walked outside. 

 

He didn't even look at direction where others were but went and sit down on the ground away from them. 

He took out his lunch and looked at it. "Apples and mixture of all kind of things." He thought as he started eating, he didn't make it himself so he didn't know beforehand what his lunch actually was.

Baseplate was shaken from his musings by everyone around him suddenly moving. he was startled to see that he had started spacing out again like he had before, Of all the things to be that same about me that had to be one of them.

 

He was surprised to see a new dragon in the room, but knew it was far too late to comment on it. He raised a hoof, "Um, Miss Cheerilee? Do you mind if I just stay inside? I'd like to get ahead on those projects and given how hard it is for me to write anyway, it would be much harder for me to write without a desk."

 

He was resigned to the fact that he might actually have to interact with his classmates, but whenever he spaced out it gave him severe anxiety so he thought it best to calm down for a bit first.

Stormy wasn't really paying attention before and seemingly subconsciously he got up with the rest of the class and followed them outside. he snapped back to his attention when he realized he was free of the confinement of the classroom.

 

"Yeah! now I can fly!" Stormy smiled as he looked up at the sky and kicked off the ground quickly gaining altitude starting to reflect that paper his classmate had handed out. it had said stuff about an idol, letters to himself, and a parent's day? Well that would be weird, his father was one of the weather ponies at the factory in canterlot and had been moved to the ponyville weather team for... reasons.

@, Cheerlee herd the mare call her she as about to take care of it when she herd string shot say "I got it" he said running out with a towel then galloped towards the zebra. "here you go, misty right? names string shot" he said levitating the towel over towards the zebra.

 @@Illiad Easle, Cheerlee chuckled at the danger pron zebra then hearing bassplate she turned around "are you sure you don't want to be outside with the others? its a beautiful day outside" she said

 

Dinky doo herd this as well and stopped herself running out of the door looking at the colt. He looked rather depressed to her and looked like needed a good time. The philly trotted back over to baseplates desk "you sure you don't want to play hopscotch?" she asked giving a puppydog face to the colt. She always wanted to play with new friends

He edged out of his desk, then extended a hoof towards the purplish unicorn, "I'm Baseplate by the way, though I think you already know that, what's your name?"

Sappy decided to go outside one he saw all the students go too. He flew outside and got into a relaxing laying position under a big tree that provided shelter. He took out the history book that the children used prior in their classes, and started reading. It was written by another famous historian from Canterlot, and honestly, all this book contained was baseless facts, and nothing exciting! Sappy burned the book in disgust, and promised himself to teach these kids something exciting and useful.

 

He looked up at the big clock on the school, there was still time for him to sneak a cupcake… Or actually, he should refrain from eating too many sweets. A healthy dragon lasted much longer than the other dragons. Sappy ended up sitting and observing the small kids running around, or eating.

Baseplate noticed the brief flash of fire out the window of the school, his eyes widened as the book the dragon was holding disappeared into the flames. 

 

His face distorted into an expression of fear crossed with disgust, "Did that dragon just... Burn... A... Book!?!"

 

A shudder ran though his whole body, he wasn't one to hate others, but anyone who burned books was among the worst kind of individuals there were.

Unfortunately for poor Lupus, he was standing in the doorway as the stampede of young colts, fillies, and dragons shot towards the door. Not knowing what to do he released a small squeak of panic and curled up on the floor with his hooves over his head as everyone ran over him.

@@cwhip9, Misty sat back down once the juice stopped dripping off the table. "Yeah, that's my name. and this is Francis." She said gesturing her hoof towards him. "The one that spilt the drink." She said drawing her hoof back, her tone shifting to one of frustration.

 

Francis huffed in response springing forward knocking over his not yet opened juice box. "I said I was sorry!" He yelled, attracting attention from quite a few ponies around him. "And I wasn't trying to spill it!" He said sitting back down.

Baseplate followed Dinky as if in a trance, still thinking about what could have possessed that dragon to go so far as to burn a book. The thought of destroying a source of knowledge, a conveyor if ideas, was sickening to him.

 

He almost didn't notice the other new pony that he and Dinky had encountered at the door of the school. "Oh! Sorry, didn't see you there." He extended a hoof in greeting, "I'm Baseplate, it's nice to meet you Lupus."

When they left the classroom with their foals, they were in the middle of the pack but slowed down as they headed outside. Catching their breath, they looked all around at the other foals eating their lunches and wondered where to eat.

The twins then diverted their attention to where three unicorns, one filly and two colts, talked among each other. They noticed one colt looked like he had been trodden upon and walked over.

 

"Hey, are you okay?" Fudge asked Lupus.

Quill was unsure who to socialize with. There was quite a few she was a little intimidated by picking someone, what if they reject her? What if no one really wanted to talk to her? A few butterflies took off in her little tummy, still looking rather nervous. Maybe somepony might come say hello to her? She looked at her sandwich in her magic still wondering what to do.

Lupus walked over to the tree with Dinky, but then he saw what was happening over at the table.

 

'I can't stand bullies!' He thought as a determined expression appeared on his face.

 

"Hang on a moment." He said to Dinky as he walked towards the table.

 

"What do you think you're doing?" He said to Summer.
