Twilight has now been an alicorn for as many episodes as she was a unicorn.

And she actually was an alicorn for a while in the one she turned one but I decided on this title. 

 

People just seem to treat this event like it was a recent one but it is not. She has been alicorn more in the comic and Equestria girls and in universe most of the time she has spend in Ponyville has been as an alicorn since only one year passed between seasons 1 and 4 (we know because of the summer sun celebration) while there has been Hearths Warming episode both in seasons 5 and 6 so time is passing quicker. I do not recall the real world air dates for episodes but it should be something similar to half as well.

 

So could be about now stop to taking about show turning Twilight into an alicorn soon? It is not really relevant.

I think you meant she's been an Alicorn for the same number of episodes she was a unicorn. I said the same thing a few weeks ago, since technically yes, Twilight was a unicorn for a total of 64.5 episodes (she spent the majority of Magical Mystery Cure as a unicorn, so I'm counting it as half)  and as of last week's episode, Twilight has been an Alicorn for a total of 64.5 episodes. From this point on, she'll have been an Alicorn longer than she was a unicorn.

 

Also, I'm going to be pedantic for a second since I should point out that the belief that a single year passed from S1-S4 is based on people thinking Celestia said that this is the first Summer Sun Celebration since Luna's return. I thought that too and didn't agree with it, but at no point does she say that. What she actually says is:

 

Princess Celestia: I must admit that it is wonderful to actually be looking forward to the Summer Sun Celebration.

 

Note she doesn't say looking forward to it for the first time.

I don't see why it makes a big deal anymore, since most of the issues with her becoming an Alicorn have went down. Of course, I think it is nice for her being an Alicorn. I haven't understood why it has been an issue.

Anyone who is still mad about Twilight being an Alicorn needs to just stop watching at this point. After 3 seasons they are not going to change her back. By the end of this season she'll have been an Alicorn longer than she has been a unicorn, time to move on.

And yet, we still see Twilight as a unicorn in every single episode via the opening theme. Funny how that works. 

 

In any case, I would still take unicorn Twilight over alicorn Twilight any day of the week. I simply liked her more before she became the "Super Special Badass Uber Powerful Warrior Princess Goddess."

It really has been a long time since Season 3, I am sure in no way that anyone could possibly still hold a grudge against Twilight becoming an alicorn, three seasons later.
