Rainbow dash's parents headcanon?

So, what's your headcanon for Rainbow dash's parents now? Now that we've OFFICIALLY seen Fluttershy's family, dash is the pony who's family we know the least about (discounting Applejack's dead parents of course)

The pony she is standing on is possibly her father, or at least related to her, but nothing has been confirmed.

 

I like to think he is her father. As for mother, if you search on google you can find a ton of fan art about her parents. A lot of folks like the idea of Firefly (I think that's a G1 pony) being her mother because Dash was supposedly based off of Firefly (at least that's what I've heard).

yes, he could still turn out to be her brother; but given how he supposedly taught her about flying based on the card, he seems more fatherly to me IMO.

Some time I ought to make a list of all the Daring Do books mentioned in canon (show and otherwise).

ngl, I'm pretty happy with what we ended up getting instead. Her parents are adorable and I can't imagine them pulling something like this tactfully
