Should Twilight Sparkle get her own Comedy Roast?

I've had this idea since the end of Season 3 of My Little Pony, and I still have it to this day.  I'm thinking that Hasbro should do a My Little Pony Special: The Roast of Twilight Sparkle.

 

It should be its own thing outside of the usual episodes(2 hour long special).  The idea is that Twilight's friends decided to gather in Canterlot to honor and poke fun at Twilight Sparkle.  In terms of humor, it would be more like the "Dean Martin Roasts."

 

The ideal Roastmaster would be Princess Celestia

 

The Roasters would include:

Rainbow Dash

Pinkie Pie

Rarity

Applejack

Fluttershy

Spike the Dragon

Starlight Glimmer

Discord

Princess Luna

 

They would also be joined by guest roasters.  My ideal guest roasters would be Stephen Colbert and Jeffrey Ross(Who also guest starred on Batman: The Brave and the Bold).

 

Special  guests would include Princess Cadance and Shining Armor, Moondancer, Trixie, and Dragon Lord Ember.

Well, some of Twilight's friends have occasionally roasted her behind her back ("The Saddle Row Review," anyone?), so there's a precedent. Not a bad idea at all.

I'd rather see them take the piss out of Glimglam. I'd also opt that the go full blown TV-MA on her just because kids show characters making raunchy jokes and insults (that are also still genuinely clever) amuses me greatly. Maybe Fluttershy ends up being like the Anthony Jeselnik of the group and has the most brutal set of the night.

 

I imagine she'd take it all in stride though. They all would.

That would not be a good idea.  If parents saw their children watching something like that, there would be a full-on outrage at Hasbro.

I'm not saying this should be an actual episode. I was referring to some kind of fanwork. An animation or maybe fanfic.

 

I actually think even a more innocent one like you were suggesting would still be tricky for them to do. You wouldn't believe how easily offended some people are.
