Your favorite side character?

hi every pony, how are you doing today, and who do you think is the best side character, personally my fav is discord!

At the moment, my favorite side character is Trixie.

 

Starlight Glimmer is really close, though.  But it's debatable whether or not she can even be considered a side character.

I like Big Macintosh. He's quiet, he's easy going, and he has plenty of potential for a story arc. I also like his character design.

For more "major" side characters, that's a toughie. Soarin, Gabby, Party Favor...the list goes on XD.

So many outstanding characters to choose from  ! 

 

Spike and Starlight Glim Glam are definitely at the top of my list. Season 6 has been most kind to these 2 as they have had significant character development all throughout.

 

Gabby and Minuette are the best 1 off characters for me. They were just so cute and adorable in their respective episodes .

For me, Thorax can prove a lot about his kind the changelings, in that there's still good even around the dark. Plus, he's really a sincere and genuine guy and finally feels at home.

Quibble Pants. Him coming out as a Comic Book Guy character but actually being competent in know-how of how to get out of Daring Do adventures makes him interesting. In the beginning I thought he was just going to be another incompetent male stallion weenie but he turns out smart.

really? i thought this would be in sugar cube corner. since that is the place you talk about what you feel but it does not have to do which the show it's self just which character you like most, because i could have said Stellar Eclipse and he only shows up for 2 min but since it does not have me talking about what he does or were he was its sugar cube corner because its just, ya i think twi is pretty cool. thanks for the help tho.

Most threads that are asking other people questions, such as "What would you do if you were in Equestria?" or "How would your OC react to this?", go in Sugarcube Corner, you're correct on that one! However, threads about people's favorite aspects of the show go in Show Discussion, because those threads tend to - well, discuss the show, or at least some of its elements. Basically, "Your favorite character / episode / season, etc" type of threads go in this section. Hope that helped! Feel free to PM me if ya want to ask anything else.

Derpy and Thorax for sure. Derpy is, well, Derpy, I can't NOT pick her! Thorax is amazing because he is a changeling that I absolutely love. His voice is wonderful and he is just cute. <3 Also opens up so many doors for the changelings themselves.

In conclusion, Cadance.

 

I think part of that is probably residual from the "Neigh Anything" comics, but she is just such a sweet, level-headed pony who manages to be graceful but still down-to-earth. I really wish she would get an episode to flesh her out, because she totally deserves it. Best princess.
