Fleas, flies, fruit flies, moths, and cobweb spiders.

Gonna be that guy: Spiders aren't "bugs"; they're arachnids.  Or aliens; one of those.

I wish I saw more spiders; I'm fond of them.  We have some cobweb weaver-types and the occasional jumping spider, but the bugs I see most often are cockroaches.  I really don't like cockroaches. >_<

Mosquitoes, and it's quite annoying considering their bites itch really goddamn bad sometimes.

Fortunately, creepy crawlies avoid my apartment for the most part.

Occasionally I'll see a "water beetle" that crawls up out of the drain or--shudder--a spider.

Freakin' spiders, man.  :okiedokieloki:

Mostly mosquitoes and house flies, if we're talking 'insect', but if we're talking about the wide range of bugs that involves everything that is creepy and crawly, then spiders. Just yesterday I had to exterminate a rather large one.

Spiders. Like, seriously.

I haven't seen one for a long while now, but the last one I had was a common house spider and the thing was huge! Getting that thing out was more of an emotional roller coaster than watching Titanic.

Although, throughout summer, I had a lot crawling up my walls and wardrobe in two day gaps. Small ones to be exact, but they were noticeable in the corner of my eye. I even had one crawling on my bed and began to crawl on me. My heart that night though... poor thing was whacking at 150bpm - max.

I usually see Mosquitoes or flies if I see anything at all. There's always the errant spider or cockroach here and there too. Before I moved back to the west it was always the ones you couldn't see that were the biggest problem. Ticks and Chiggers being the worst.  :eww:

i live near the woods....ok in the woods.....fine, in a valley..... ok, next to a river, in the woods, near a state park...literaly walking distance!

but anyways, we have masquitos, spiders, ants, termites, beetles, grubs, flies(deer, house, ect.),and the such.... could probably spend all day just trying to remember all of them...

i do have a pic of a spider, as some may be scared of it, just PM me with the name "Show Me Spider" and i will send you the pic as a response!

btw its not the biggest I have seen, just the biggest one to hold still long enough to get my camera and something to compare size!

The unasked questions are what bother me, not the answers. The answers give me clarity. Silence is in its self an answer, so ask! To not ask is to deny the existence of said question, and leaves you with just "what if".

Spiders and crane flies.

"I could have been happy above if I'd never donned the copper carapace and dipped my head beneath the waves to hear the muddled man-made sounds. Distorted and dreamlike droning. The whir and thrashing of a distant propeller, the tumultuous thundering thud of fogbound freighters. Mud underfoot, no sights, except the grasp of a diver's trained hand, dreaming of distant lands knowing all the while this is what I love, not the blue skies and wondering faces above. Canvas, rubber, brass, copper, and glass. Leather and lead, mud and sweat, heaving around in dark, damp depths seldom seen by most yet talked about by all. As if a sunny, happy place where mermaids and seahorses play and chests of gold are lain bare, untarnished by salt and time for all to grasp who are bold enough to go below..." -"Deep Sea Diver", Steven L. • 4 weeks later...

My house I just bought has A LOT of crickets in the basement. I don't know how they get in. They get annoying so I usually throw them outside. Ocassionally I see black ground beetles down there too under a box sometimes, but they're harmless so I don't care about them.

Mosquitos. Of all the ants and bugs I've seen around the house and in the city, nothing compares to the hordes of mosquitos I've seen in the mountains around lakes and ponds in early July.

Flies would come in second place. If its not mosquitos, its those pesky flies on the trail. As soon as the skeeters die out, the flies come out in full force. They will land on you every second you pause for a break along the trail.

Mosquito repellant does practically nothing!  :-o

The best respite from skeeters or flies is to simply climb high enough to either get above the timberline or to get to a windy, exposed spot.

Whether flies or skeeters, it's soo bad that if you even stop for a second, 20 of them will land on you, with another 100 of them hovering around your face.  :diamondtiara:
