Could the Cutie Map partner the Mane 6 with others?

This is just something I thought of since watching Top Bolt.  What if they had a scenario where the Mane 6(And heck, even Starlight Glimmer) teamed up with another pony?  Especially ponies(Or even  a Draconequus) who live in Ponyville.  

 

Example Team ups include

 

a) Fluttershy and Big Macintosh

Applejack and Trixie

c) Rarity and Spitfire

d) Pinkie Pie and the Cutie Mark Crusaders

e) Twilight Sparkle and Princess Luna

f) Rainbow Dash and Discord

g) Starlight Glimmer and Princess Celestia

 

Your thoughts on Friendship Missions involving a Member of the Mane 6(7 if you count Starlight) and another individual just to spice things up?  And if so, who would you like to see ponies team up with?

Considering how the thrones are set up, and the origin of the map, I don't think that's too likely. But if it happened, it could give an AMAZING array of plot options (er, story options):

• Fluttershy and Cadance
• Twilight and Celestia
• Twilight and Moondancer (or one of her other Canterlot friends, actually)
• Pinkie and Cheese Sandwich (again)
• Fluttershy and Scootaloo
• Cheerilee and the CMC

I could go on all day. If only...

Heck, maybe they should have somepony edit the map to allow this. They could probably run the show for a long time just based on the number of possible combinations.

The main reason why I paired Starlight with Celestia is so we can get an episode involving those two.

That would be really interesting to see happen, but I think that due to the nature of how it was created with the castle, that it won't happen.

Or maybe there could be something like: Map sends Twilight and somepony else somewhere.

 

While they're still out, the map asks to send Twilight and another pony to another place! Starlight sees this and thinks she could try and go there in Twilight's stead. Cue a possibly quite interesting and enjoyable episode, with a number of possible endings. Don't attempt what you're not qualifed for, speak up about a problem even if you think you might be wrong, ...

 

 

Otherwise, the map would need an update. It could still happen. It isn't set in stone (what a bad pun... I apologise), as it perfectly adapted itself for Twilight and her friends... + Spike!

What I want to know is..

 

Does the map have something against problems requiring more than two ponies to solve?

 

Ever since the village episode it has yet to call 3 or more of them someplace together to solve an issue. I am not against the map sending them places, but I would love to see them sent as a group sometimes. And why not sometimes make it just where they are needed, and not just to solve a domestic squabble in some cases?

Not sure. I think the map will keep the Mane6 solving problems without involving anyone else. Though, with....

 

Starlight saving the day this season finale. Who knows?
